From a man's point of view, in Wei Zixu's eyes, Ye Xunhuan telling Qiu Ruoxi that Wu Mei is pregnant and the child is his is basically just a euphemistic way of saying he wants a divorce.
Otherwise, if you don't want a divorce, why the hell would you say all that?
Other people lie and hide it as long as they can, but you went and told Qiu Ruoxi straight up.
"I never thought about divorcing her…"
Ye Xunhuan had just opened his mouth when Wei Zixu cut him off: "You might not have thought about divorce, but think about it yourself—those words, falling into a woman's ears, especially your own wife's ears, what else could they mean but divorce?"
"Let's switch it around. If my dumb little sister told you she met some guy outside, super handsome, and she really likes him, would you feel okay inside?"
"I…"
"Or put it another way. If Ruoxi said the man she used to like suddenly showed up again, what would you think?"
