"You... you're married?" Geng Jingqiu asked Qiu Ruoxi in complete disbelief.
Qiu Ruoxi nodded, "Yep!"
"When did you get married?"
"Almost a year ago!"
"So early!" Geng Jingqiu exclaimed in shock, "I thought you weren't married yet, and I was thinking that maybe some of our old classmates still had a chance!"
"But now it seems, if they find out you're married, who knows how many hearts will break!" Geng Jingqiu said in an exaggerated manner, "You have no idea how many classmates are still digging for your news, hoping to bring the goddess home..."
Qiu Ruoxi wasn't very good at making small talk. She was fine in business settings, but in situations like this, she could only force a smile in response.
