The private jet was luxurious indeed, with an entertainment section, separate bedrooms, bathroom, couches and most importantly, beautiful hostesses (for Ethan that is).
"Is it just me or Lance was talking back there like I didn't even existed?" asked slightly irritated Ethan.
Ash chuckled at Ethan's remark as he replied, "Don't mind him, he is just like that with everyone else."
"Yeah, I suppose so. But seriously, he and Sabrina needs to chill out more, I am just glad that you didn't turn out like that."
Ash just smiled as he looked out side the through window. Flocks of flying type Pokemons can be seen passing by their plane. Ash suddenly had a flashback when he an Goh rode on Lugia's back when they were still research assistant at Cerise Laboratory. 'Good times' thought Ash.
It's been half an hour since they departed. "Say Ash," Ethan just spoke up, breaking the silence "Why do you want to be dropped off at the outskirts rather than the Academy?"
"No reason." said Ash as he petted Pikachu on the seat beside him sleeping peacefully and talked to the boy sat across from him. "I just want to look around a bit, that's all."
"Nostalgia?" asked Ethan.
Ash just smiled and nodded reminiscing his adventures in the region.
*Timeskip*
The next day in the morning, they entered the Kalos region. The pilot was looking for a suitable landing spot so that he could drop off Ash. As soon as he found a suitable spot, the two passengers were informed about the landing plan as they buckled their seatbelts.
After landing on a huge grassy plain, Ash took his luggage and told them to go to the academy. Ethan didn't seem to mind at all because he was thinking on how to make a dramatic entrance, how people will react to see him coming out of his personal jet. Ash just sweat-dropped seeing his Elite Four member, the plane then took off towards the Academy.
As looked at the plane disappearing into the horizon until it couldn't be seen anymore. "C'mon buddy, let's have a looked around."
"Pika"
The two bestfriend started to roam around the area.
Pikachu is Ash's first Pokemon and probably his strongest. These two have gone through so much together that some people might have called it bullshit. These few years of hard work and training strengthened their bond so much that they could understand each other's feelings perfectly. Pikachu was the only Pokemon Ash could use without a single command.
That doesn't mean that his other Pokemons were weak. The truth is that each and everyone of his Pokemons are true powerhouses and they could even give some Legendaries a beating any time of the day.
He had been practicing without command strategy after he saw Diantha doing it with her Gardevoir via eye contact. It is difficult to master, but he has done quite an excellent job.
Within these years, he discovered a lot of hidden potential in his Pokemons which has been surprising at times.
He didn't see anything interesting and out of the ordinary during his time on that area except some native Pokemon belonging to the native region. He decided it was probably time for him to go. After all, Scott is waiting for him, he might not be alone as well.
He unclipped a pokeball from his belt and threw it in the air. After the light faded and the pokemon materialized, it gave a mighty cry.
The Pokemon was one of Ash's oldest pokemon and his first flying type. It was probably one of it's kind with huge wings, graceful feathers, sharp talons and red-yellow crest on its head.
"Care to give us a ride girl?"
Pidgeot nodded Ash to climb on. Pikachu climbed on Ash's shoulders as he took his luggage (which was only a bag pack, yes a bag pack) and climb on the loyal bird pokemon. Pidgeot gave another cry as she ascended towards the sky and onto Lumiose City where the Academy is located.
Even on Pidgeot, it would take half a day to get there. So, thinking about the travelling time, he opened his dark blue hoodie, which revealed a black T-shirt with a pokeball design underneath. There was a golden pendant attached to his neck which held a keystone.
"Let's ramp it up." exclaimed Ash as he touched the keystone.
The keystone started glowing along with the mega stone attached to one of Pidgeot's talon. They were enveloped in Mega evolution energy. After it faded, what revealed was a majestic and beautiful bird with a longer crest, a single red bang in front of its eyes, blue and red feather and a powerful outlook. Any coordinator would have died to have a graceful and beautiful pokemon, yet so powerful as well.
Pidgeot's speed increased by 20 folds as it soared at lightning speed. Ash was sure enough they would reach the Academy in half an hour.
