Aunt Qin helped the fainted Ye Qiyun at the door, and with the faint light from the courtyard, she discovered that Ye Qiyun was pregnant, her belly prominently swollen. Surprised, she quickly shut the door and, with some effort, helped her into the house, into the same room she had slept in last time.
Aunt Qin carefully laid her down on the bed and then went to turn on the light. The sight gave her quite a shock; Ye Qiyun was filthy all over, with parts of her clothes torn, a complete contrast to the Ye Qiyun she first met. She no longer seemed so dazzling, yet her delicate features remained as beautiful as ever. Though unconscious, her brows were knitted tightly.
Aunt Qin quickly fetched a basin of hot water to wipe away the dirt on Ye Qiyun's face and body, then changed her into a clean set of pajamas.
