It was past eleven o'clock at night. Quan Yu pushed aside the neatly arranged cards in front of him, rubbed his Jingming acupoint, and glanced at the black business watch on his wrist.
"Time to head back," he said, his voice a bit hoarse from not having spoken much all evening. He picked up his teacup and took a sip to moisten his throat.
Chi Zhengjun also looked at his watch. "It's only eleven, what's the rush?" He paused, then added teasingly, "Eager to get home?"
Qiao Yishen chuckled. "It is getting late."
Chi Zhengjun glanced at him sideways. "What are you getting involved for? Others get home early, and someone serves them a hot, fragrant midnight snack. Do you have that?"
Qiao Yishen just smiled and said nothing. Quan Yu, however, ignored him and turned to Gu Langjun. "Coming to my place?"
