"Madam?" The driver, hearing the knocking on the window, turned his head and looked troubledly at the person sitting in the back.
He had been knocking for a while, but the person in the back seemed not to have noticed at all, just sitting there with her hands folded.
Joe, looking at the unmoving figure inside, already had brows so furrowed they could kill a fly.
Mary stepped out of the car, saw the person standing in front of it, and then her gaze fell on the one inside who was unwilling to emerge.
"This woman is really annoying." She muttered to herself, then took out a cigarette from her purse and started smoking.
She hoped she wouldn't mess up her chance to make an appearance... Her eyes sank slightly as she looked at the car.
Finally, the person inside moved, stretching out a hand to open the door.
Seeing that the person in the car had finally moved, Joe finally let out a sigh of relief.
