Lai Wei was speaking, always paying attention to Hai En's expression, but apart from a momentary confusion on his face, everything seemed normal.
Then, not quite understanding, he asked, "Weiwei, what does 'closet' mean?"
What he wanted to ask was if it was the kind of Western closet used for heating, but he was worried that using the wrong words might upset Lai Wei, so he simply asked in this straightforward way.
He looked a bit dazed, which was kind of cute. Lai Wei had tested Hai En multiple times, trying to pinpoint any discord between them. If there was even a tiny bit, Lai Wei was not prepared to continue the relationship.
If the person she liked looked at her with strange eyes, she couldn't accept that, nor could she compromise just because of love.
Fortunately, Hai En was good, really good.
She laughed, leaving Hai En looking bewildered. Lai Wei leaned over and lightly touched his lips, "When you come to my house, I'll tell you what a closet is."
"Okay."
