The journey to the West is currently the most important matter within the Buddhist Sect, and this matter is related to the destined prosperity of the Buddhist Sect.
Therefore, coordinating the Westward journey holds immense merit.
Originally, this task was entrusted by Tathagata to his right-hand, Bodhisattva Guanyin, but unfortunately, Guanyin succumbed to demon possession, bringing shame to Tathagata.
Subsequently, this task fell to Maitreya Buddha, which imposed some pressure on Tathagata.
After all, as the head of the Buddhist Sect, Tathagata naturally felt pressured most by Maitreya Buddha, the Future Buddha.
Maitreya Buddha is originally the Future Buddha; therefore, many leaders of the Buddhist Sect have allied themselves with Maitreya Buddha.
Once Maitreya Buddha completes the coordination work for the Westward journey for scriptures, his prestige will inevitably rise.
