"Stop! Where is your command token?"
Arriving at the city gates, Sun Wukong and his companions were about to enter the city when they were halted by the soldiers guarding the gates.
"Command token? What kind of command token?"
The group exchanged bewildered glances. Entering a city required a command token?
"This kind of command token!"
The soldier pulled out a piece of jade, with faint primordial force fluctuations, and the runes inside seemed alive.
"Oh, this kind of command token! Yes, yes, we have it, of course!"
Sun Wukong reached into his bosom and pulled out five identical command tokens, showing them to the guard.
"Why didn't you say you had them earlier? Alright, you may pass!"
With a look of impatience, the soldier waved his hand dismissively as though shooing flies. He tapped the ground with his spear, and a circle of ripples appeared from nowhere. It turned out that the city gate was protected by a barrier.
