Black Qi is a kind of energy.
However, this energy is exceptionally bizarre.
So much so that it has reached the point of being able to give birth to its own will!
Li Chen understood this when he first summoned the Black Qi.
Moreover, he was even more aware that the will within the Black Qi was merely a pure thought control, lacking any thought processes.
But this thought control was so powerful that even Li Chen's Divine Soul could not resist it, thus he was influenced.
When being eroded by the Black Qi, Li Chen remained Li Chen, except that his thoughts, his ideas, and everything were all influenced by the thought control of the Black Qi, causing him... to lose his rationality.
But in the confrontation of eighty million years, Li Chen forcibly drove the Black Qi out of his sea of consciousness.
Upon expelling the Black Qi, Li Chen vaguely felt that the Black Qi seemed to have truly developed its own thinking at that time.
