Xiaomei wasn't foolish; she caught on quickly.
Her initial understanding was that she just needed not to hold her sister back in social interactions. But as her sister's business grew larger and larger, she realized that not holding her sister back was far from enough. She also needed to learn more skills to always be by her sister's side. She suddenly realized the challenges her sister faced were much harder than her own. Her sister was the one who made the decisions, and she also had to plan for the future of those willing to follow her. The burden on her sister's shoulders was much heavier. Yet her sister was only 25 years old. No one had ever taught her what to do in the future. Just thinking about it made Xiaomei feel exhausted for her sister.
At that thought, Xiaomei lost the joy of drinking her milk tea.
She got up and was about to leave.
Wu Yue was startled by her sudden movement.
He looked at her, puzzled, "What are you doing?"
"I'm going back to find my sister."
