"BANG!!"
As the staff and claws collided, a thunderous sound echoed throughout the village.
Hiruzen was once again thrown back by the power of the nine-tailed fox, creating a deep crater where he landed. He then rose from the ground and soared toward the nine-tailed fox with his staff once more.
"Bang!!" "Bang!!"
Hiruzen and the Nine-Tailed Fox exchange blows repeatedly, each strike producing a series of rapid, near overlapping clashes of sound.
Despite the Nine-Tailed Fox's attacks being faster and more powerful, Hiruzen can still withstand them with his keen monkey senses and Enma's strength.
Although Hiruzen has weakened with age and is no longer in his prime when he was known as the God of Shinobi, he can still trade blows with one of the strongest creatures in the Shinobi world, the Nine-Tailed Fox.
As time passed, the fight grew more intense, and the battlefield shifted from the village center to its outskirts.
The casualties among civilians and Shinobi continued to rise due to the Nine-Tailed Fox's massive size. Coupled with the shockwaves as the two clashed, some individuals eardrums exploded and couldn't hear the sound of a rubbles that are coming towards them.
At this point, Hiruzen's breathing was slightly ragged, showing that his just a human, not a god of Shinobi that many used to call him. As he watched the Nine-Tailed Fox raise its claws, he lifted his staff with both hands and deflected the attack to the side.
"BOOM!!"
The ground trembled from the force of the Nine-Tailed Fox's claws. As dust billowed around him, Hiruzen backed up, then pointed his staff at the Nine-Tailed Fox's navel. The staff instantly elongated, striking the beast and sending it crashing onto its back with a resounding thud of defeat.
The Nine-Tailed Fox's back slammed heavily into the ground, and it let out a slight whimper of pain that it could feel in its throat.
"ROARR!!"
Roaring in fury, the Nine-Tailed Fox sprang to its feet and opened its mouth wide enough to swallow a three-story house. Then, a chakra of destruction and it's own chakra gathered at the tip of its open mouth.
Moments later, a massive ball of darkness formed. As it appeared, the surroundings heated up, radiating a heavy, destructive power capable of obliterating an entire city.
Seeing the ball of darkness form before the Nine-Tailed Fox, Hiruzen gazed at it with gloomy eyes and muttered in his aged voice, "Tailed Beast Bomb..."
Hiruzen glanced back at the chaotic village, at the monument of the previous Hokages carved into the hill, and pondered deeply.
A moment later, Hiruzen took a deep breath and gripped his staff tightly with both hands. He then turned to face the Tailed Beast Bomb, bracing himself for the Nine-Tailed Fox's impending attack, determined to protect the legacy left by the previous Hokages.
Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Hiruzen, a young man's figure suddenly appeared on one of the sculpted faces on the hill as he turned his gaze away.
The young man had long yellow hair, sharp eyes, and wore a long white cloak with a red flame pattern at the bottom. His face matched the sculpture he stood on exactly, and on the back of his cloak was an imposing character that read 'Fourth Hokage.'
The young man is currently the reigning Hokage of the Village Hidden in the Leaf, known to everyone as Lord Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze.
Minato's sharp eyes were fixed on the distant Nine-Tailed Fox. Witnessing the destruction it had caused to the village and the many civilian casualties, a surge of uncontrollable anger rose within him.
Glancing at the Tailed Beast Bomb formed by the Nine-Tailed Fox, Minato drew a kunai. This was no ordinary kunai, as it had a unique style and some sort of sealing characters on its handle.
This kunai was Minato's proud creation, inspired by the Second Hokage Tobirama Senju's Flying Thunder God Technique. It was his improve version of the Flying thunder god technique - second step.
Drawing the kunai, Minato narrowed his eyes as he realized the Nine-Tailed Fox had shifted its head, aiming the Tailed Beast Bomb directly at him.
With his sharp eyes, Minato could still make out the glowing red eyes of the Nine-Tailed Fox from a distance. Within those eyes, a three-tomoe pattern slowly rotated, a feature unique to many Uchiha.
"Madara..." Seeing the Sharingan in the Nine-Tailed Fox's eyes, Minato remembered the Madara he had faced before and what had been done to his newborn baby and wife. His anger flared again as he threw the kunai in his hand.
The kunai flew toward the direction of the Tailed Beast Bomb but stopped mid-air and transformed into a seal.
Meanwhile, the Nine-Tailed Fox launched the Tailed Beast Bomb, which rapidly approached Minato. However, as it passed through the seal created by the kunai, it quickly vanished.
"BOOMMM!!!"
A deafening explosion erupted far from the village, obliterating a mountain in the distance. The blast was caused by the Tailed Beast Bomb formed by the Nine-Tailed Fox.
As for the reason why the Tailed Beast Bomb exploded there was Minato's Flying Thunder God Technique—Guiding Thunder.
Glancing at the massive explosion in the distance, Minato quickly shifted his focus back to the Nine-Tailed Fox. He then threw another kunai, which flew at an incredible speed.
The kunai swiftly reached above the confused Nine-Tailed Fox. Then, Minato's figure suddenly vanished from the top of his own monument.
In an instant, Minato disappeared and reappeared at the location of the thrown kunai above the Nine-Tailed Fox. With a swift motion, he raised his hand and formed a powerful cyclone of wind chakra above his palms.
"Rasengan!"
Minato hurled the massive Rasengan, landing it directly on the back of the Nine-Tailed Fox.
"BOOM!!" "ROAR!!"
The Nine-Tailed Fox roared as it was pushed and pinned to the ground by the intense rotational speed of the wind chakra above. The Rasengan's power penetrated its back, wreaking havoc on its insides.
After a while, the Rasengan subsided, leaving the Nine-Tailed Fox sprawled on the ground, grunting in pain.
Minato, still midair, swiftly landed on the back of the Nine-Tailed Fox. He then turned his attention to Hiruzen, who was still gripping his staff tightly with both hands.
Seeing Hiruzen's wide eyes, Minato gave a slight smile, concealing the fatigue from the day's events. He then crouched on the back of the Nine-Tailed Fox, placed his hand there, and quickly vanished from the village outskirts.
Minato teleported far from the village, where his wife Kushina and their newborn baby were.
He then scanned the surroundings for a mysterious person that might appear. After a moment, he dismounted from the back of the Nine-Tailed Fox and made his way to where Kushina and his newborn baby were.
Upon reaching Kushina, who was holding their baby, Minato gently cupped her face and kissed her forehead.
"Kushina, are you feeling alright?" Minato asked, noticing her haggard appearance. Seeing this, he couldn't help but embrace her lovingly, with their newborn baby nestled between them.
"Yes, I'm feeling okay," Kushina responded, savoring the warmth of Minato's embrace.
"ROAR!"
The Nine-Tailed Fox let out an enraged roar, then abruptly stood up and shouted, "MADARA!! How dare you control me!? Show yourself and fight me!!"
After a while of shouting at the top of its lungs, the Nine-Tailed Fox calmed down slightly and turned its gaze toward the couple in the distance.
"You, Fourth Hokage. How dare you hurt me, the strongest Tailed Beast!? I won't let that slide, fight me again!" the Nine-Tailed Beast demanded.
Hearing this, Minato turned his head to face the menacing look of the fox with his sharp eyes. Anger was still evident in his gaze as he stared at the Nine-Tailed Fox. He was about to speak but stopped as he felt a sudden dizziness in his head.
"Kurama, stop. You're being controlled by Madara's Sharingan. It's also your fault for falling under control and causing havoc in the village, so don't blame Minato for bringing you to your senses," Kushina said in a reprimanding tone.
"Kushina..." Kurama was out of words and couldn't respond at that moment.
"Ehh- Minato, dear, are you okay? What happened?" Kushina's worried voice suddenly sound.
Glancing at the couple, Kurama noticed that Minato had collapsed on the ground.
"Fair enough, hahaha!" Kurama laughed loudly upon seeing Minato collapse. After a while, she gradually quieted down as she sensed Kushina's gaze.
Kushina placed the newborn baby beside Minato and then walked toward Kurama. She touched her abdomen and said, "Come back inside."
