Chapter 2 - Chapter2 The new beginining.

I was sitting in my room, playing on my laptop, when I heard a knock on the door. It was my Uncle who had come to check on me after a long day at work. I can see you already getting used to staying around. He began, Yes, uncle, I answered with barely a whisper. My heart started racing, and I could see that my uncle noticed that I was nervous.

Are you okay, Princess? He asked, closing the distance between us. I am fine Uncle was just surprised to see you here. One of my workers called me earlier today, saying that you refused to go down for breakfast and that you barely ate a good meal for lunch.

Please get ready We are going out for dinner and have a party to attend at patriarch lounge later. We will be coming back tomorrow

The night hung heavy with anticipation, as if the stars themselves held their breath in the velvety expanse of the sky. In the small town of Ravenswood, where secrets whispered through the rustling leaves and moonlight danced upon cobblestone streets, a tale was about to unfold—a tale destined to be etched into the very fabric of memory.

At the heart of Ravenswood stood an old mansion, its grandeur a testament to the bygone era it had witnessed. The locals spoke of the mansion in hushed tones, weaving tales of mysterious occurrences and haunted chambers. Tonight, however, the mansion harbored a secret not even the wind dared to carry.

Isabella Harper, a young journalist with an insatiable thirst for uncovering the truth, found herself drawn to Ravenswood on assignment. Her task is to investigate the legend of the mansion and its enigmatic owner, Elias Blackthorn. As her car wound its way through the dimly lit streets, Isabella couldn't shake the feeling that tonight held something more than just a story to be told.

Parking in front of the mansion, Isabella was greeted by the creaking gates and the distant howl of a lone wolf. The air was thick with the scent of nostalgia, and the looming structure before her seemed to pulsate with hidden memories.

Inside, the mansion whispered tales of forgotten love, betrayal, and a tragic event that cast a shadow over Ravenswood for decades. Isabella wandered through dimly lit corridors, tracing the ornate wallpaper with her fingers and feeling the weight of the past in each creaking floorboard.

As she dove deeper into the mansion's secrets, Isabella stumbled upon a locked door concealed behind a faded tapestry. Her journalistic instincts kicked in, fueled by a combination of curiosity and a desire to unearth the truth. With trembling hands, she turned the ancient key, unlocking a portal to a forgotten world.

Beyond the door lay a room frozen in time—a ballroom adorned with chandeliers that cast fractured rainbows across the polished floor. Isabella could almost hear the strains of a haunting melody, and as she stepped into the forgotten ballroom, the air seemed to shimmer with the echoes of laughter and music from a bygone era.

Little did Isabella know that this night, with its ethereal whispers and the secrets locked within the mansion's walls, would be the beginning of a journey that would change not only her life but the destiny of Ravenswood itself.

And so, beneath the watchful gaze of the moon, Isabella Harper began her quest for truth, a quest that would transform anyone

Olivia! A voice came from outside the washroom of the hotel where my uncle led me for dinner that night. That was the voice I dreaded with passion Maya Harrison my uncle's younger sister. I stood there, rooted to the ground.

I never knew why she would follow me here. I was glued to my phone reading this novel full of crazy and weird characters, A Night to Remember," into a story woven into the very soul of sorrow and pain. I opened the door and was met with a weird smile on Maya's face.

Should I hook you up with a hot-looking guy tonight, sister? She suddenly asked.

Hold on a sec oh! do you think am really desperate? Maya
