After that day Naruto declared Sasuke as his rival. Quickly five years past. Naruto and kizo became ever closer. Naruto and kizo now view each other as brothers. Kizo found a new talent. It was talent for cooking. He come up with many new recipes. And everyone who ever tried his cooking fell in love with it. Kizo friend circle also grew now he is friends with all the key figers in class. He now often cooks for his friends. In academy his he had the best score in theories. His IQ and EQ were extremely high rivaling sikamaru maybe even surpassing it. His skill in taijutsu was also among the top five in the academy. And he has also mastered the three basic ninjutsus.
Currently in the classroom Ino ask Kizo, "Hey, kizo have you heard about the graduation exam is in a week?" Kizo replied, "yes, I heard. I believe most of us will pass without any issues. Naruto very became very very sad and gloomy even more than the original. Because it is hard to deal with not passing. But it is way harder to deal with it if all your friends passed and you failed. Naruto was standing in the road facing the Hokage faces in the distance. Earlier Kizo tried his best to lighten his mood but he failed to succeed. Naruto was thinking how he maybe left behind by his friends. Maybe once again he will be all alone. Just then one of the academy teachers called him from the back.
Inside the Hokage office hiruzen was sitting in chair facing the village from the big window. He was thinking about Naruto. Naruto was has the son of Minato the fourth Hokage yet he was living a very difficult life. He was hated by villagers and often starved because of his miss management of money. But that was not the only reason. Many of the shop keepers would not sell anything to Naruto and those who did charged 3 to 4 times more for everything. But things have improved a lot in the past 5 years. Because of Kizo he no longer starved or was lonely. It is safe to say that his life became many times better then before. If Hiruzen had his way Naruto would never go through all this. When Hiruzen became Hokage his power was very restricted all his decisions had to be approved by the elder council and the clans. After Minato died and he retook the Hokage position his power further reduced. When all Minato died of the clans and elders wanted to take Naruto for them selfs having a jinjureki and a son of genius was a great way to increase their influence. Hiruzen wanted to take care of Naruto but under the pressure of everyone he couldn't do anything. So he decided it was better to leave him alone so no one could influence him for thier benefits. Danzo was very pissed from not able to get Naruto so danzo decided to do the next best thing. He spread rumors that Naruto was the demon fox who attacked the village. He believed that as long as Naruto became dark he might be able to control Naruto. Hiruzen could do nothing about the rumors. Because it will confirm his jinjureki status. Once that happens he will be targeted by the other villages. Even kushina was kidnapped when she was young and after the attack of nine tails he lost the courage to do anything. But he was happy everything worked out in the end. He even after Naruto failed the exam he made a plan. A plan to test Naruto and maybe pass him.
Today was a very big day for Kizo he finally passed and became a ninja. He was very happy but his happy nees did not last. His closest friend whom he thinks as his brother failed. When looked at Naruto face his his heart shrinked a little. All his his happy ness disappeared in a instant. He tried his best to console but no matter what he tried but Naruto stayed gloomy. So he decided to leave him alone thinking that he needed a little time by himself. In the evening where he was just roaming around he heard two ninjas talking. He heard that how Naruto had stolen something from the Hokage's office. After he heard that he immediately went to look for Naruto.
