Nikolai woke sometime after midday with absolutely no idea where his left arm had gone.
For a serene moment or two, his mind remained pleasantly empty as he stared at the ceiling, enjoying the strange heaviness covering almost every part of his body.
The curtains had been drawn across the enormous windows, leaving only a thin strip of golden sunlight crawling across the floor. His bedroom carried the unmistakable scent of sex, sweat and several women who had spent most of the morning ensuring their husband actually kept his promise to remain home.
'...Fuck, what a night.'
His memories slowly returned.
Nikolai intended to sleep after being warned by his lovely wives.
That was truly his plan... at least until they appeared. Nikita decided that simply sleeping beside him wasn't enough because he might "sneak out the moment they closed their eyes." Selene naturally agreed with her for once, which made Nikolai laugh.
