Nikolai sat comfortably, letting Rika lean against him as she slept soundly.
He didn't want to disturb her, choosing to remain in a slightly awkward position for four hours after she finished playing with Kumiko. The call remained connected as the golden kitsune chatted to him every so often while she continued her game.
"So, darling... when are you coming to my room?" Kumiko glanced at him in the video beside his face, patiently waiting for him to look.
His eyes inched away from Rika's defenceless face as he curled the right side of his lips and smirked at Kumiko. "Honestly, I planned to come straight away, but the doctor vanished, and then you both started playing that damn game."
"Hmmm~ your voice is a little strange, by chance... Are you jealous?"
"Impossible."
