Chapter 5 - 05 problem solver

"Miss Natasha?"

A voice greeted Natasha as she arrived at the entrance of the wedding organizer's office.

"Yes, that's me," Natasha replied warmly.

"Please come in. Mr. Liam is waiting for you."

The woman stepped aside, inviting Natasha into the building.

Natasha entered, with Noah following a few steps behind her.

They were led toward the back, passing displays of beautiful wedding gowns and various wedding-themed photographs hanging on the walls as references for prospective brides and grooms.

"Mr. Liam, Miss Natasha has arrived."

The young woman who had come to greet them at the entrance knocked on a door.

"Come in."

A voice came from inside.

"Doctor Adam, Doctor Natasha, please come in. Have a seat," the man said politely, gesturing toward the sofa in the middle of the room.

Although Liam mistakenly called Noah by the wrong name, Natasha, who didn't want to make things complicated, chose not to correct him. She knew it would only waste time.

"Thank you."

Natasha sat down on the sofa, followed by Noah, who remained silent.

"The venue briefing is already finished, right? I thought I should be able to see the design concept by now. But Mr. Liam said there was a problem with the venue. What happened?" Natasha asked directly.

"There's a problem with the permit for the location you chose, Doctor Natasha. The venue is located at the foot of a hill, and a few days ago, after heavy rainfall, a landslide occurred just a few meters away from the area that was supposed to be used for the wedding."

"It wasn't a major landslide, but because of the incident, the authorities have temporarily rejected permits for any events to be held there. Gatherings aren't currently allowed in the surrounding area," Liam explained.

"Then what are we supposed to do? The wedding is less than a month away," Natasha asked.

"Since we don't know when the permit will be issued again, we can't guarantee that the venue will be ready within the next month."

"The only solution is to choose another location. I've already looked into it and found three venues with a similar atmosphere to the one Doctor Natasha originally chose."

"Please take a look."

Liam handed Natasha a fairly thick folder.

Natasha flipped through the pages, examining the photographs and descriptions of the alternative venues Liam had prepared.

"Mr. Liam, which of these three locations would you recommend?" Natasha asked.

"This one."

Liam pointed to the first option.

"First, the air is cooler because it's located on the outskirts of the city. The area is also quite spacious and is often used as a camping ground."

"And most importantly, the pine trees you specifically requested for the wedding venue are very dense there."

"However, it does have one drawback. Accommodation for the guests might be a little difficult. The nearest hotel is seven kilometers away, and it isn't a luxury hotel."

"Most of the guests attending the wedding will be from the elite circles of the capital. Do you think they'd be willing to stay at a three-star hotel?" Liam asked.

"That could be a problem. What about the other two locations?"

"They aren't pine forests. They're city parks with several pine trees scattered around them. The first location, however, is a genuine pine forest," Liam explained.

Natasha fell silent for a moment, her eyes briefly drifting toward her phone on the table as she waited for Adam's call.

"Can I make a suggestion?" Noah asked quietly.

"Of course, Brother Noah," Natasha replied quickly.

"If you like the first location and think it suits your wedding, just go with it. Leave the guest accommodations to me. I'll take care of it," Noah said.

"How?" Natasha asked.

"The only problem with that location is the accommodation, right?" Noah asked.

"Yes, Doctor Adam. Accommodation for the guests is the only concern," Liam quickly answered.

"If that's the only problem, then you don't need to worry. There won't be that many guests, and most of them are members of the Ashford family, hospital colleagues, and major clients and business associates of Ashford Group."

"Most of the guests will probably prefer going home rather than using the accommodation we provide, especially the doctors who need to remain available in case they're called in."

"The major clients, business associates, and executives of Ashford Group will most likely come with private drivers anyway. They'll probably choose to return home as well."

"That leaves only the family and closest friends," Noah explained.

"Even so, that's still quite a lot of people," Natasha said.

"I know this area, and I also know that there's a private hot spring resort about three kilometers from the venue."

"The resort can accommodate around fifty people," Noah added.

"You mean Asahi Onsen? The luxurious Japanese-style hot spring resort that isn't open to just anyone and can only be rented by members? The one where becoming a member costs a fortune?" Liam asked, his eyes widening.

"Yes, exactly," Noah replied.

"Are you a member there?" Liam asked.

"No," Noah answered simply

"Then forget about it, Doctor. You have to register at least three months in advance to become a member, and the wedding can't wait that long," Liam said.

"But I can have the entire resort cleared for us on the day of the wedding," Noah said casually.

"Really, Brother? Do you know the people who run the resort?" Natasha asked.

"I don't just know them. The owner of the resort was my friend when I studied in Australia."

Noah paused before casually adding,

"I even own fifteen percent of the resort."

Liam stared at him in disbelief.

"Thank goodness. Then everything is settled. We'll use this location."

He turned toward Natasha.

"If you'd like to see the venue before the wedding, we can take you there."

"We'll see later, Mr. Liam. I'm a little busy at the hospital right now. If I have some free time this weekend, I'll let you know," Natasha replied.

"Alright, then. I'll prepare several new design drafts and send them to your email as soon as possible."

"I'll be waiting for them."

"In that case, we'll be going now, Mr. Liam."

Natasha stood up, followed by Noah.

"See you again, Doctor Natasha. Doctor Adam," Liam said as he shook their hands one by one.

"Come on, Brother Noah. As a thank-you for today, lunch is on me. I haven't had lunch yet anyway," Natasha said.

"Alright. Let's go.

Noah took long strides toward the exit, walking side by side with Natasha as they left the wedding organizer's office.
