Isara felt them before she saw them. Five hostile mana signatures, closing fast from five different directions, each one radiating the same solar fire that had been hammering her since the fight began.

Each one burning, each one closing with fists raised, and Isara couldn't tell which was real because the mana signatures were identical.
Isara's chains snapped outward in a defensive web and caught the first Serika through the torso. The image dissolved. The second took a chain to the face and vanished. The third dodged left, the fourth came from above, the fifth -
Her chains couldn't cover all of them. She prioritized the two most aggressive signatures and bound them both.
Both were illusions.
