Chapter 14 - Story-[11]

The Lost Map and the Hidden Island

Lena and her little brother Finn loved exploring the woods behind their grandmother's house. So this summer they went ro stay with their granny for the holidays.

One rainy afternoon, while searching through Grandma's attic, they found an old wooden chest.

Inside, beneath dusty books and a rusty compass, lay a mysterious map. The edges were torn, and a bright red X was marked on a tiny island labeled Neverseen Isle.

"This is a treasure map!" Finn gasped.

"Or a secret island no one has discovered yet," Lena added, eyes shining.

"Why don't we go searching for the treasure? " finn said.

"Lets do it", Lena exclaimed.

That night, they packed a backpack with snacks, flashlights, and Finn's lucky pocket knife. At sunrise, they followed the map's clues, leading them down the riverbank to an old rowboat covered in vines. With excitement bubbling in their chests, they pushed the boat into the water and set off.

The journey was anything but smooth. A school of playful dolphins splashed them, strong winds nearly blew their map away, and a seagull tried to steal Finn's sandwich.

But as the sun climbed higher, the fog cleared, and there it was—Neverseen Isle!

Stepping onto the golden sand, they followed the winding trail marked on the map. Through thick jungle and past giant, twisting trees, they stumbled upon a stone archway covered in glowing blue vines. Beyond it, a hidden cave sparkled with crystals—and at the center, an ancient wooden chest.

Lena and Finn heaved it open, expecting gold coins and jewels. Instead, they found… books! Old, leather-bound books with golden pages. One opened on its own, revealing a message:

"Knowledge is the greatest treasure of all. Take one, and share its wisdom."

Lena chose a book about ocean explorers, and Finn picked one about secret codes. As they rowed home, the sun setting behind them, they knew this was just the beginning of their adventures.
