Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: Evolution Begins

Host: Wan Zhang Long Wo

Talent:Blood Fusion: Spirit Over Soul (Bloodline Talent Activated)

Item: Evol Driver

For a modern man well-read in light novels, the concept of a "system" wasn't exactly unfamiliar.

Still, this one felt… barebones.

The system panel hovering before him consisted of only three lines of information. Even with the brief tutorial screen that disappeared after a glance, there wasn't much else to see. Luckily, the young man managed to grasp the basics of what this so-called Infinite Evolution System was all about.

In short, it randomly grants the user a talent from a pool of evolutionary-type abilities, enabling infinite growth. It also provides a built-in inventory space and a single high-level function called "Existence Tampering"—which can alter his identity in the current world.

No shop.No lottery.No missions.Not even a status scanner.

In short—it had no flair. The Evol Driver? Just a coincidence. It happened to act as a medium. It also just so happened to awaken the Bloodline Talent of "President E's" bloodline. And it just so happened to drop him into the world of Kamen Rider Build.

The outcome?

His body, under the immediate activation of the bloodline talent, transformed into a mass of crimson plasma—and refined the body and soul of the man in front of him: Banjo Ryuga, the male lead of Build's world.

"All of him—gone. That's... terrifying." Wan Zhang Long Wo muttered, feeling a trace of guilt. Then he concentrated, restoring his new form to Banjo's original appearance.

The talent granted to him wasn't just vampiric—it was adaptive. He could manipulate genetic factors, absorb abilities, and even memories, through direct contact or full-body fusion. His body was now essentially made of living blood, and mimicry came as naturally as breathing.

From the absorbed memories and the unmistakable stench of his surroundings, he figured out his location: a sewer. Specifically, the scene where Banjo had just escaped from Faust's underground human experimentation lab—right at the beginning of the series.

Of course, he knew it wasn't a real escape. Every movement Banjo made was under Evolto's surveillance, a carefully arranged drama for "Battle Rabbit"—Kiryuu Sento—to stumble upon.

But knowing all this, Wan Zhang Long Wo didn't panic. He wasn't about to run around blindly like the original Banjo.

Still… this place stinks. Evolution or not, a sewer was no place to loiter. He quickly found a manhole, pried it open, and climbed into the light of the city.

Meanwhile...

In a dim surveillance room, Evolto stared at the monitor with a puzzled look. The red dot representing Banjo hadn't run away toward safety. Instead, it had marched directly into the commercial district… and entered a public bathhouse?

"...What the hell is this guy doing?" Evolto muttered, tilting his head.

An hour later...

Fresh from a long soak and a haircut, Wan Zhang Long Wo stepped out wearing a sharp black shirt, fitted jeans, and a crisp white coat billowing like a cape in the breeze.

Where did he get the money?

Don't ask.

Just assume it was "picked up."

"Alright, time to meet Battle Rabbit!" he grinned.

Thanks to his enhanced physique, he made short work of a group of Faust's mechanical defenders and jacked a motorcycle. With a flick of his coat, he sped toward the city's edge—where Kiryuu Sento was likely hunting Smash.

Evolto, still watching from behind the scenes, sighed in relief.

"He's finally moving. Time to send in the rabbit."

Kiryuu Sento, aka Kamen Rider Build, was a masked hero chasing the shattered pieces of his own past. As part of his duty, he was cleaning up Faust's monstrous experiments—the Smash.

So when a Smash sighting came in, along with word of an escaped "killer," Sento didn't hesitate. He sped off on his Machine Builder motorcycle, headed straight toward the outskirts.

It wasn't long before he caught up with his target.

Wan Zhang Long Wo, glancing behind him, saw the sleek rider in pursuit. He looked at his own stolen ZF-issued motorcycle—and frowned. Compared to that beast, his own ride was a turtle.

He could have dragged the chase out longer… but then he saw Sento pull out a weapon.

The Drill Crusher.

Suddenly, all his jokes about rolling on the ground like the original Banjo didn't seem so funny. He yanked the brakes hard and screeched to a halt.

"Woah, wait! Don't stab me!"

Sento cocked an eyebrow. "Relax. It's in gun mode."

He switched it with a click.

"Besides, I'm here for the Smash. Catching a so-called murderer is just part of the job."

"That's illegal possession of a firearm!" Wan Zhang Long Wo yelled, eyes twitching. "I ought to report you!"

"…You are the fugitive," Sento deadpanned. "Who are you calling the police on?"

"I didn't kill anyone!" he yelled, eyes turning red in genuine frustration.

It wasn't just acting—he was genuinely excited. Standing face-to-face with a real Kamen Rider? That thrill was hard to fake.

"I'm not a convict! I escaped from a lab where everyone wore gas masks and experimented on people!" he said, trying to steer the conversation.

Sento's expression changed immediately. That hit a nerve.

A hazy memory in his mind—the only memory left—showed exactly that: gas-masked scientists, cold metal tables.

"What lab? Tell me!" Sento grabbed his collar.

"How would I know? I was framed, jailed, and drugged! I woke up there and ran!"

Wan Zhang Long Wo pointed behind him. "And maybe you should turn around."

"…What?"

Sento turned.

A hulking blue monster—Smash—was barreling toward them.

"SMASH! Run—wait, what the hell?!" Sento spun around, only to see Wan Zhang Long Wo had already bolted to the side.

Sento barely dodged in time.

Despite his evolved body, Wan Zhang Long Wo knew better than to fight a Smash unarmed. He wasn't the original Banjo, smashing steel with bare fists. That hurts, thank you very much.

As for the Evol Driver sitting quietly in his system space?

Now wasn't the time. Not until he could trust Sento—and get his hands on a Full Bottle.

"Yo! What the hell is that thing? If we can't beat it, let's retreat! ZF reinforcements should be on their way!" he shouted.

"Relax. I've got this," Sento said coolly, reaching inside his beige windbreaker.

With dramatic flair, he produced the Build Driver.

Wan Zhang Long Wo narrowed his eyes.

"…Where the hell was he hiding that? That coat's barely big enough for a phone!"

Somewhere in the laws of Rider physics—he suspected—a four-dimensional pocket had to be involved.
