After once again beating up the two annoying Turks, Alex and Dean were about to return to Aerith's house to finally eat something and find time to discuss their further plans — whether they should even stay in this world at all or quietly get out. But after spending half a day in Aerith's company, Alex and Dean were already inclined to the idea that they should figure out to the end what was actually happening in this world.
Dean was particularly interested in why the Gray Whispers had needed to attack Aerith and what canon they were so desperately protecting. After all, considering what Dean's life had been like in the past — when his fate and the life of his brother Sam had turned into banal entertainment for the bastard Chuck. And once again encountering creatures trying to interfere in other people's lives, Dean was not at all against talking to them again. And very convincingly making them understand that they shouldn't meddle in other people's business.
Alex, on the other hand, had finally decided to stay in this world and help Aerith, even if the price was his upcoming family vacation, which he had been looking forward to for so long. He knew perfectly well what a terrible fate awaited Aerith according to the canon, and he was no longer sure that because of his and Dean's intervention something even worse wouldn't happen.
After all, at the first meeting with the Gray Whispers, they had angered these Beings so much that they were ready to harm the girl just to forcefully return everything to its place. Sighing heavily once again, Alex felt a light poke in the cheek and turned his head.
The moment he turned around, he met Aerith's playful green eyes, who was still cheerfully hanging on his back and continuing to persistently demand that he tell her what exactly he had written in that note for Rude. However, hearing Alex's next sigh, Aerith expressed slight concern about his condition. She couldn't help but notice how his mood had changed for a short moment, and she was sincerely curious to know what had caused it.
"Is something bothering you?" Aerith asked, slightly narrowing her eyes and curiously poking Alex in the nose with her finger.
"Not that it's bothering me… I'm just thinking that a lot of problems await us ahead," Alex replied with a smile, slightly shaking his head.
"A lot of problems? Maybe you meant to say that a bunch of shit awaits us ahead that we'll have to clean up?" Dean turned around, lazily walking a little ahead.
"In a sense, yes, I suppose. In any case, as always, we'll deal with this. But first let's eat, I'm too lazy to think on an empty stomach," Alex said with a chuckle and lazily shrugged his shoulders.
"And that's right! I also don't like thinking on an empty stomach. So let's go, let's go!" Aerith approved with a wide smile, patting Alex on the shoulder and cheerfully urging him to walk faster.
Hearing how Aerith was once again urging him on, Alex only laughed. Catching up with Dean, Alex looked at him and mentally asked what they would do. Dean thought for a moment and still said that they probably should stay in this world and solve the local problems. After all, they had never abandoned work halfway, and since they had gotten involved in Aerith's problems, they should solve them.
Hearing Dean's answer, Alex grinned, making it clear that this would be a very fun adventure. Dean didn't deny it, but still reminded him: this doesn't change the fact that they still had to beat up Lucifer for dropping them from orbit onto this planet. Alex readily agreed, because he himself wouldn't mind hitting his older brother with a chair in the head again.
While Alex and Dean were communicating mentally with each other, Aerith narrowed her eyes suspiciously. Her inner feeling told her that they were hiding something from her. Continuing to look alternately at Alex and Dean with her narrowed gaze, Aerith tried to understand what kind of secret these two were keeping from her.
Reaching Aerith's house, Alex and Dean preferred to continue the discussion after eating. It was especially important for them to think about how to earn money to live in this city. Finding themselves at the threshold, Aerith deftly jumped off Alex's back and immediately fluttered into the house.
"Mom, we're back!" Aerith shouted ringingly as soon as she crossed the threshold of her house.
"Welcome back, dear. Were you able to help anyone?" Elmyra asked with a smile, coming out of the kitchen and looking with interest at the returning company.
"Of course! We helped at the orphanage, and then helped Edgar with the berserk robot," Aerith replied with a wide smile, raising her thumb up.
"Nice to hear that. The stew is almost ready. And you, Aerith, while you're at it, prepare the guest room for your 'bodyguards'," Elmyra continued smiling, pointing a wooden spatula toward the second floor.
Aerith thoughtfully shifted her gaze toward the second floor and remembered that there was only one bed in the guest room. Tapping her finger on her chin, she looked at Alex and Dean, who by this time had already taken off their outer clothing and sat down at the table waiting for food. A sly plan immediately formed in her head: she could tell Alex that he, as her bodyguard, should sleep on the floor in her room.
Quietly chuckling at this idea, Aerith began to skip up the stairs, slightly rocking her head from side to side. Watching her, Dean turned to Alex and couldn't help but ask what was wrong with her again. Alex only shrugged in response — it seemed to him that Aerith was always so cheerful, and he didn't see anything unusual in it.
Thinking that this was indeed the case, Dean also shrugged and habitually pulled his phone out of his pocket. But the moment he took the smartphone in his hands, he immediately remembered that in this world it wouldn't work. Irritably clicking his tongue, Dean put the gadget back — and he had just wanted to watch a couple of funny videos to pass the time.
Alex, meanwhile, had already connected to the local network and was carefully studying the latest news. He was looking for at least some reports or mentions of the radical group "AVALANCHE" to accurately understand at what stage the story was currently at.
"Wait, you were able to connect to the network?" Dean asked in surprise, noticing that Alex was already enthusiastically reading something from the screen.
"The phone connects to the network itself, if there is one, of course. Didn't I tell you about this when I gave you your personal phone?" Alex asked in response, turning his head toward the puzzled Dean.
"Seems like you did… Or did you tell this to Sam?" Dean said thoughtfully, reaching into his pocket for his phone again.
"I told you too. You were just too happy to get a new phone," Alex replied, rolling his eyes and returning to browsing the news.
Dean only shrugged and immediately unlocked the screen. Already counting on watching a couple of fun videos, he ran into only a bunch of ads, news propaganda, and similar things. Looking at all this nonsense, Dean sighed irritably, realizing that he had hoped in vain to pass the time with his usual videos.
Seeing no other alternatives, he decided to follow Alex and simply read the latest news and find out for himself what was happening in Midgar. Alex, meanwhile, quickly scrolled through the feed, briefly listening to another solemn speech by the Shinra president about how his corporation continued to rapidly expand.
Skipping this nonsense, Alex came across a fresh summary that told how the "AVALANCHE" group had carried out another raid and hijacked an armored truck with valuable cargo. Interested, he opened the article. A moment later the report showed footage from surveillance cameras, and on these frames Alex saw very familiar faces.
"Are they complete idiots? Even a fool would understand that you need to hide your faces. Half-assed terrorists," Dean hummed, glancing at Alex's phone screen.
"Have you even heard yourself? How many years were you on the wanted list? And how many times were you caught? Shall I remind you how many articles you were involved in until I erased your file and Sam's file?" Alex asked mockingly, making it clear to Dean that he himself was no better than these amateur terrorists.
"Honestly, I don't remember… But it seems I was facing about ten life sentences and the electric chair," Dean chuckled, waving it off and seeing absolutely no problem in his criminal past.
"As you say… But we still have to meet with these people. Aerith's fate is closely connected with this group of hapless terrorists," Alex said, pausing the recording and pointing his finger at the three people on the screen.
"Are you kidding? How do they even manage to hide if they get caught so stupidly every time?" Dean asked in bewilderment, clearly doubting Alex's idea of getting involved with this company of amateur terrorists.
"Fate. Here it plays too important a role," Alex replied in a calm tone, continuing to peer at the screen.
Hearing about fate again, Dean irritably clicked his tongue and returned to browsing the news to somehow pass the time. Alex, on the other hand, was interestedly examining the photos of Jessie, Biggs, and Wedge, who had decided to hijack an armored truck. Stroking his chin, Alex began to understand at what stage the current events were.
If he remembered everything correctly, that truck contained what would help them blow up the mako reactor in the First Sector. Continuing to thoughtfully tap his finger on his chin, Alex remembered that blowing up the reactor would entail massive destruction in the First Sector and multiple casualties, and the "AVALANCHE" group would finally be branded as terrorists after that.
Continuing to think through the further plan, Alex felt a warm touch to his shoulders and turned his head, meeting Aerith's green eyes, in which undisguised interest in his thoughts was read. Meeting Alex's gaze, Aerith smiled cutely and immediately sat down next to him, propping her cheeks with her hands.
"What are you thinking about again? And what kind of phone is this? I haven't seen anything like it," Aerith asked with a smile, slightly tilting her head to the side.
"I made this phone myself. It's the same means of communication, only you can also follow the news from it," Alex replied, placing the smartphone on the table.
"Wow… Cool! Even Shinra doesn't have anything like that. And what interesting thing were you reading there? And what were you thinking about again?" Aerith exclaimed in surprise, not hiding her delight at Alex's invention.
"I was making plans on where we could hide. No matter how cozy your house is, your pursuers after today's events may start acting much more aggressively," Alex began explaining his thoughts, carefully watching Aerith's reaction.
Hearing Alex's words, Aerith thoughtfully nodded her head from side to side. She understood that the biggest problem in her life was not Shinra, but those creatures that constantly pursued her and did not let her change what she wanted to change. For a moment narrowing her eyes, Aerith looked at Alex and slightly nodded, agreeing with his decision.
Thanks to the call of the Lifestream, she understood that she could completely trust him. But even agreeing to leave earlier than the expected time, Aerith did not want to leave her mom alone — even knowing that in that case no danger would threaten her. Sighing slightly, Aerith shifted her gaze to Elmyra, who continued to cook the stew in the kitchen.
As a slight sadness from the upcoming separation began to boil inside her, Aerith felt a warm touch to her head, from which she slightly squinted from these pleasant sensations. A smile immediately appeared on her face when she turned to Alex. Continuing to smile, Aerith stretched out her hand and poked Alex in the nose again with her finger, playfully reminding him that she was the one who should do this, not the other way around.
Slightly chuckling at Aerith's playfulness, Alex slowly moved her finger away from his nose. Narrowing her eyes at such a gesture, Aerith persistently tried to repeat the attempt while Alex continued to fend her off with a smile. And while they were playfully wrestling at the table, a dry cough sounded behind them.
"Am I interrupting you?" Elmyra's dry voice sounded from behind, who had imperceptibly approached Alex and Aerith.
"Heh-heh… No! I almost managed to defeat him," Aerith replied with a smile, immediately hiding her hands under the table.
"I doubt that, dear. And please, not at the table. I understand that you're inspired, but let's eat in silence first," Elmyra said with a tired but warm smile, placing plates with hot stew in front of them.
Catching the smell of food, Dean immediately put his phone in his pocket and saw a plate of hot stew in front of him. Feeling the appetizing aroma, he immediately started eating, not intending to wait for the others. After the first bite, the meat seemed a little strange to Dean in taste. Thoughtfully chewing it, he tried to understand what kind of animal this meat was from and what exactly he was eating.
But after a couple of bites, Dean only shrugged, deciding not to guess what the stew was made from — food is food. Alex also started lunch. Bringing the spoon to his lips, he thought for a moment that the taste would be the same as synthetic food in Night City. But, not feeling any particular difference from the usual stew, Alex calmly continued eating, not forgetting to praise Elmyra's cooking.
The hostess responded with a calm smile and only added that there was more in the kitchen — which Dean immediately asked for. Hearing his request, everyone at the table turned their heads toward him and saw that his plate was already empty. Dean calmly smiled and explained that he was simply very hungry.
Pointing him to the pot with stew where he could take another portion, Elmyra continued eating. Getting up from the table, Dean went for seconds with a satisfied smile — after all, since yesterday, only strong alcohol and random snacks had been in his stomach. Finishing lunch, Alex helped Aerith clear the plates from the table and wash the dishes. Elmyra, still sitting at the table, watched with a soft smile as they worked together at the sink.
"Let's go, I'll show you my babies!" Aerith said with a smile, putting the last plate in the cupboard.
"You mean your flowers?" Alex asked with interest, wiping his hands with a towel and turning to Aerith.
"Yes! My babies! Let's go, I'll introduce you!" Aerith exclaimed joyfully and pulled Alex by the hand toward the exit.
Alex didn't resist as Aerith dragged him outside, because he needed something to occupy himself with until late evening anyway. Watching as Aerith once again dragged Alex into the yard, Dean decided to go out into the garden too so as not to sit in the house. Going out into the fresh air, Dean sat down on the threshold, watching this couple.
Dragging Alex to her garden, Aerith began enthusiastically telling him about the flowers she grew and what each of them symbolized. Alex listened attentively to everything she said, helping her with watering along the way. Being himself, he didn't understand botany at all and could only nod, continuing to help.
But this in no way changed his opinion that Aerith really took very careful care of her garden, which made it look incredibly cozy. Stopping at another flowerbed, Aerith decided to take care of the plants one last time before leaving this place. Squatting down, she began carefully pulling out weeds, setting them aside to throw away later.
"And what flowers do you like?" Aerith asked with a smile, carefully clearing the soil so as not to damage the stems.
"I like red Spider Lilies, and also the Moonlight Flower," Alex replied in a thoughtful tone, helping her clear the flowerbed.
"Spider Lily? Moonlight Flower? I've never heard of them. And what do they mean?" Aerith asked thoughtfully, turning her head toward Alex.
"I won't say. These flowers don't have the most pleasant meanings," Alex replied, squatting on the edge of the stone masonry and smiling at Aerith.
"Why? Are the meanings of these flowers really so tragic?" Aerith asked with interest, sitting down next to Alex and lightly leaning on his shoulder.
"Something like that… Sometimes it's just worth enjoying the sight of beautiful flowers instead of thinking about what they might mean. Some things simply shouldn't be given designations. After all, when you start looking for meaning even in the flowers you give to people, they really acquire a hidden subtext… But if you gave someone a flower just because it's beautiful, that's a completely different matter," Alex said with a smile and lightly flicked Aerith in the nose with his finger, making it clear that she was thinking too much.
"Such wise words. Maybe I should write them down so I can brag later about how smart and wise I am?" Aerith laughed, lightly bumping her forehead against Alex's shoulder.
Alex chuckled slightly at Aerith's words and couldn't help but remind her that a couple of smart phrases don't make a person a sage. Hearing this, Aerith resentfully pouted her lips and began playfully pushing Alex, trying to shove him off the stone masonry they were sitting on. Dean, sitting on the house threshold, only shook his head, feeling as if he had been forcibly dragged to a movie about teenage love.
But an idea immediately formed in his head: to collect some compromising material on Alex so he could tease him about it later! Taking his phone out of his pocket, Dean began recording everything that was happening between Alex and Aerith. Chuckling at how he would blackmail Alex with this, Dean, not even hiding his amusement, continued to hold the smartphone in front of himself. After teasing Aerith a bit, Alex suggested continuing the work in the garden.
Nodding, Aerith jumped off the stone masonry and began carefully pulling out weeds. Alex and Aerith continued to take care of the garden until evening, until the sun began to set. Clearing the last weeds, Aerith picked some herbs for tea and led Alex to the house. Catching up with Dean, Alex glanced at him, and he grinned slyly and showed him his phone screen.
Narrowing his eyes at the photos, Alex immediately understood what Dean was going to use them for. Without thinking twice, Alex took out his own phone and in response showed Dean his own compromising material that he had managed to collect on him during their joint adventures.
Seeing this, Dean immediately frowned and got up from the threshold, standing right in front of Alex. Exchanging silent glances, they simultaneously nodded and firmly shook each other's hands, coming to a tacit agreement: the compromising material stays, but neither of them uses it.
"What are you two frozen for again? Come in, I'll brew us some delicious tea!" Aerith said with a smile, leaning out from the door and catching Alex and Dean looking at each other.
"I definitely won't refuse tea," Alex said, throwing one last warning glance at Dean before entering the house.
Entering the house, Alex sat down at the table while Aerith brewed the tea. Elmyra at that time was calmly reading a book, completely not distracted by how her daughter was feverishly searching for the teapot all over the kitchen. Only when the search dragged on did Elmyra, without taking her eyes off the pages, gently remind Aerith where it was. Finding the teapot at her mother's indication, Aerith smiled triumphantly and began brewing, cheerfully humming a familiar melody under her breath.
While Aerith was busy with the tea, Alex returned to where he had left off — to browsing the news and gathering information that would help him remember important details. He was especially interested in the materia that Shinra constantly advertised. Dean also showed interest in these glowing spheres that constantly popped up in advertising banners.
Nudging Alex with his elbow, Dean pointed his finger at his phone screen, asking what this even was. Not intending to discuss such things out loud, Alex began mentally explaining to Dean what materia represented, what it was formed from, and what properties it had.
But no matter how much Alex went into details, Dean only came to his own simple conclusion: materia was just magical balls that gave people magical abilities. Hearing this comment, Alex thoughtfully nodded, acknowledging that in some way Dean was absolutely right.
But this still did not diminish his own interest in materia and what could be done with it. And Alex definitely knew who in these parts had decent deposits of unused materia. Moreover, this person was very close — literally in the neighboring Slum Sector.
Mentally adding the search for materia to his upcoming plans, Alex shifted his gaze to Aerith, who was lightly dancing while brewing the tea. Feeling his gaze on her, Aerith turned her head and cutely wrinkled her nose, making it clear that everything was almost ready. Alex smiled back and lowered his gaze to the screen. He already had a plan on how to get acquainted with the members of "AVALANCHE" and make a deal with them in exchange for temporary shelter.
And all that remained was to start acting this very evening. Slightly shaking his head from side to side, Alex caught a pleasant herbal aroma. Raising his eyes, he saw a cup of hot tea in front of him, which Aerith had carefully placed. Thanking her, Alex took a sip and sighed with relief — even though it wasn't his usual coffee, the drink refreshed excellently. Sipping tea, Alex gave himself time to relax his brain a bit and not think about anything.
After tea, Alex and Dean decided to go up to the guest room that had been allocated to them. Alex had to enter there under Aerith's very disapproving gaze — she had not managed to persuade him to sleep on the floor in her room under the pretext of "protection." Finding themselves alone, Alex and Dean sat down at a small table to discuss the night outing for earning money.
"So, smart guy. What did you come up with there? Is the plan to beat the shit and money out of the local fat mafia boss still in effect?" Dean asked with a smirk, rocking on the chair and folding his arms across his chest.
"Yes. When everyone falls asleep, we'll quietly leave and head to the Wall Market in Sector 6. We need to earn some money for pocket expenses, and at the same time get some information," Alex began explaining his plan, sketching out the details in a notebook so Dean could see everything himself.
"Well, I got the money and info part. And then where? I don't really feel like hanging out with these Shinra idiots every day," Dean nodded, asking about the next part of the plan.
"Then we'll head to the Slums of Sector 7. And from there we'll think about how to act further," Alex replied, not taking his eyes off the notes.
"Bravo, little brother! You didn't let me down. I just wanted you to become a local terrorist," Lucifer's cheerful, familiar voice sounded right behind their backs.
When Alex and Dean heard this very familiar British accent and this irritating intonation, they simultaneously turned their heads toward where the speech was coming from. Sitting on the bed with his legs crossed and his interlocked fingers on his knees, Lucifer was smiling cheerfully.
Noticing that they had finally paid attention to him, he casually waved his hand, making it clear that he had been hanging around here for quite a while. Alex and Dean's gazes immediately became empty. They simultaneously rose from their seats and without a single word approached the smiling Lucifer, who was showing with his whole appearance how much fun he was having.
The sight of this infuriating smirk on his brother's face made Alex and Dean grit their teeth in anger. Without saying a word, Alex struck first — right in his older brother's face.
But the moment his fist approached Lucifer, he simply passed through him. Almost falling onto the bed, Alex managed to keep his balance at the last moment by grabbing the wooden edge. Dean, standing next to him, frowned and slightly waved his hand, but it also passed through Lucifer, causing him to laugh even harder.
"You don't have to try. I'm not here. I knew you two would immediately start swinging your fists… But here's the thing — I don't have time to come in person. I have board games scheduled for the evening with the Detective and Trixie… Oh, you probably didn't want to hear that. What a shame. Or not," Lucifer said with a smile, getting up from the bed and beginning to slowly pace around the room.
"What the hell did you do, Luci?! Why did you throw us into this world?" Dean asked irritably, burning him with his gaze and barely restraining the desire to beat him up if he were here at that moment.
"Isn't it obvious? For fun! You two love saving everyone so much — so save this world… And at the same time entertain me," Lucifer said, throwing up his hands and alternately looking at Alex and Dean with a gaze as if everything was self-evident.
"Maybe go fuck yourself, Luci?! What are we to you, two clowns for entertainment?!" Dean shouted, getting even angrier and his desire to beat up Lucifer only growing stronger.
"Oh, no, of course… It's a completely different matter. Let's just say, I'm tired of these heroes from the neighboring universe. They're always meddling, asking, demanding. Especially that bastard Constantine. No matter the problem — he's already standing on my doorstep and dragging it out: 'Hey, let's make a deal!'" Lucifer said in an exaggeratedly capricious tone, grandiosely pacing around the room.
"Get to the point, brother. What do you want? And how much are you paying?" Alex interrupted him, raising his hand to stop Dean's next outburst of anger.
"That's why you became my favorite little brother! Right — you need to get straight to business. If I were here, I would definitely hug you," Lucifer said with a smile, pointing at Alex with a two-thumbs-up gesture.
"To the point, Luci," Dean said in a cold tone, sitting on the edge of the bed and slightly leaning forward, resting on his knees.
"As I said — save this world. And do it beautifully! Right with sparkle and style… With music, fanfares, and all that. And when you're done, I'll give you a couple of very pleasant bonuses. For example, this…" Lucifer began describing his order with enormous enthusiasm.
Finishing speaking, Lucifer placed two daggers made of Hell Metal on the table, which Alex immediately recognized, and next to them placed a small ingot of the same material. Raising his gaze to Lucifer, Alex thoughtfully stroked his chin and looked at Dean. Dean continued to frown, but still nodded.
He decided to agree not because he would receive payment in the form of some black stone or metal, but because he simply couldn't abandon people, knowing that he was capable of saving them. Seeing Dean's agreement, Alex also nodded. As soon as they made the decision, Lucifer clapped his hands with a satisfied smile, not hiding his enthusiasm. But before he could burst into another joyful tirade, Alex raised his hand, stopping his older brother and demanding specific details.
Grinning slyly and rubbing his hands, Lucifer sat down on the chair and in two words began explaining that Amenadiel had observed this world in the past and had messed up a bit. Alex immediately interrupted him, asking to skip all this "lore nonsense" that didn't concern him right now. He was only interested in important details concerning only the work.
Lucifer exaggeratedly rolled his eyes, showing with his whole appearance how much he wanted to play the role of a mysterious quest giver, and his younger brother ruined everything. Looking at the watch on his wrist, Lucifer repeated the same thing he had said earlier: he only cared that this world was saved with style and sparkle, and how exactly Alex and Dean would do it — didn't concern him.
"I hope you didn't mess with the timeline? Because we just woke up, and here these Gray Farts already appeared, who decided to return the Canon to its place," Alex spoke as soon as Lucifer fell silent.
"Honestly, I have no idea. I just threw you into the portal after hearing someone's prayer. I wasn't even here," Lucifer replied in a carefree tone, making it clear that he had nothing to do with the morning incidents.
"In other words, you know nothing and now want us to clean everything up?" Dean asked irritably, looking at Lucifer as if he were the last idiot.
"Exactly, Dean! And stop talking as if this is your first time. How many times have you saved your world?.. Exactly. So stop sniveling, just do your job," Lucifer replied with a smirk, folding his fingers into the shape of a pistol and aiming it at Dean.
"Alright, cut it out, brother… and leave. We need to make a plan, and you're in the way," Alex said, rubbing his forehead and trying to send Lucifer away.
"Of course, of course. I'll be watching you from the front rows… And before I leave — here, little brother. Consider this an advance payment for your labors. Unlike our Father, I don't mind paying you half upfront," Lucifer said with a sly smirk, tossing and deftly sending a katar made of Hell Steel across the table to Alex.
Grabbing the Hell Steel katar, Alex twirled it slightly on his finger and waved it a couple of times in the air, quickly getting used to the weight and balance of the weapon. Nodding to himself, he put the blade in his pocket. Seeing how skillfully Alex handled the new item, Lucifer smiled contentedly and waved his hand in farewell, not forgetting to remind him that he was looking forward to an entertaining show.
As soon as Lucifer disappeared, Alex and Dean simultaneously sighed heavily from irritation. Lucifer's appearance in no way changed their plans, but only added anger because they had been thrown into this world simply for the sake of a spectacle. And knowing his older brother, Alex understood: he really wasn't lying and was going to comfortably watch how he and Dean would save the local reality.
Feeling an irresistible desire to hit someone, Alex rubbed his forehead, trying to calm down. Dean felt no better — this prank reminded him of extremely unpleasant and exhausting events from the past related to Gabriel. At that moment, both unanimously thought that they would really benefit from a drink to take the edge off the irritation that had come over them.
"Alright… Let's rest a bit, and when the sun sets, we'll head to the Wall Market. There we'll definitely be able to hit someone, and they'll even pay us for it," Alex said, sprawling on the chair, stretching his legs and throwing them onto the neighboring stool.
"I'm all for it. Because right now I really want to beat the shit out of someone," Dean responded, flopping onto the bed and putting his hands behind his head.
Preparing to catch their breath before the night outing, Alex and Dean didn't even notice that Aerith was eavesdropping on them. Hearing about their plans to go to Sector 6, she narrowed her eyes and smiled slyly. Aerith firmly decided to follow them — whether they wanted it or not. Chuckling slightly, she returned to her room with a satisfied face. She definitely wasn't going to miss the opportunity to go on another exciting adventure!
To be continued...
(So that's how Lucifer showed up, and I won't say whether he'll show up again. Although by not saying so, I'm already proving he will. Or won't. Anyway, we move on to Sector 6. And then we meet those idiot demolitionists who think that if you're blowing up a Mako Reactor, you don't have to cover your face because they won't notice you in a city with cameras on every corner. Yeah, sure, check. They could come in through the main entrance and shout that they're going to blow up the Mako Reactor. Although, hehehe. You know what I mean. Okay, on to our plans. Sector 6, money, Sector 7, the cold mercenary, and Tifa with her big heart. That's all for now, I think. I'll go get something to eat. Peace, love, and Leprechauns don't exist.)
