Chapter 18 - Desmond Salvadore.

"Clean up the mess," Leonardo told Alexander, his voice low and measured. "We don't want to make my floor filthy, do we?"

Alexander nodded, his eyes gleaming with understanding. He knew not to disobey or hesitate because that could cause his life.

The Salvadores were an extremely powerful and influential family, with a legacy that spanned centuries. They had built their empire through blood and steel, and they would stop at nothing to protect it. They were the rulers of the city's supernatural underworld, and their word was law.

Leonardo, the patriarch of the family, was a master strategist and a ruthless leader. He had expanded the family's empire through his cunning and intelligence, and he would do whatever it took to maintain their power and influence.

But cross him, or harm his family, and Leonardo would show no mercy. He would punish anyone who dared to lay a finger on his family with merciless ferocity so much so that that person's family and generations will suffer for his mistake.

Most people did not even know about the Salvadores as they always laid low, remaining mysterious and powerful while the few who knew about them never dared to cross them.

Leonardo's family was his greatest strength, and he would do whatever it took to protect them.

Alexander, his loyal and trusted lieutenant, was a skilled warrior and a seasoned fighter. He had fought by Leonardo's side for centuries, and he would follow him to the depths of hell if necessary.

"Alexander," Leonardo said, his voice low and measured. "I want you to find out everything you can about the Master. Who he is, what he wants, and where he is. I want to know everything."

Alexander nodded, his eyes gleaming with understanding. "I'll get to work on it right away," he said, his voice firm.

Leonardo nodded, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. He knew that he could count on Alexander to get the job done.

No one would dare to harm the Salvadores, not while Leonardo was alive. He would make sure of it.

"Vroom!, Vroom!"

As the Bugatti Tourbillon pulled up to the grand entrance of the Salvadore mansion, the sound of its 8.3-liter V16 engine purr-ed smoothly, echoing off the marble façade. Desmond, with his chiseled features, piercing emerald eyes, and raven-black hair, stepped out of the car, his bespoke suit and Italian leather shoes gleaming in the fading light of day. His companion, Lucas Slater, followed closely behind, his rugged good looks and athletic build a stark contrast to Desmond's lean, vampiric physique.

As they entered the mansion, the butler, Jenkins, escorted them through the opulent halls, adorned with Renaissance-era artwork and priceless antiques. The scent of fresh flowers and old books wafted through the air, mingling with the faint tang of blood. Desmond's eyes scanned the surroundings, his gaze lingering on the familiar sights and sounds.

Desmond and Lucas entered the grand hall and they were met with a gruesome sight.

The leader of the assassins, the one who had attempted to attack the Colonna family, lay lifeless on the floor, a pool of blood spreading from his head like a halo. Desmond had received information about what happened from his father during his trip, so he wasn't surprised at the sight before him.

Only Lucas was shocked as he stared wide eyed at the scene because he was not used to seeing things like that, as compared to Desmond.
