Chapter 2 - The Hulk vs. Abomination

John Li stared closely at the figure. The one minute he had just spent suppressing the scene was enough to allow most people to leave the neighborhood.

Sure enough, the absence of the crowd and their flustered running displeased Abomination. He stomped a big hole in the ground with one foot, kicked the two cars around him, and prepared to run toward the distant crowd.

There was a whistling sound in the sky as someone fell from above, and a word floated in the air:

"Oh, shit!"

The figure smashed the ground, creating a large hole that did not fit its body shape at all.

John narrowed his eyes and raised his right hand. As Abomination stood stupefied, the silver flying knife in John's hand disappeared instantly, creating an inexplicable powerful wave that pushed John back two steps.

A hundred meters away, a flying knife suddenly appeared on Abomination's face, accompanied by a piercing sound, and plunged straight into Abomination's eye. Muddy blood splashed out, and a huge violent roar, loud enough for the entire neighborhood to hear, echoed in pain.

Abomination's two fists slammed on the ground, causing countless small stones to splash out. John, in the distance, couldn't see clearly through the debris.

John waved his hand gently, and the car door on the side came to his feet. He stepped on it and rushed toward the violently thrashing Abomination, a smile in his eyes.

It seemed that good metal could only be strong enough to break the defense!

At the corner, fifty meters away, the smoke and dust settled, and Abomination calmed down a bit. He discovered that the small silver flying knife's handle was firmly clamped by his eyelids. Mixed with blood and flesh, he pulled it out.

One of his eye sockets had been torn, but it seemed that within a few minutes, it might heal!

John also stopped. "No, now I can't stop Abomination at all. Even if Hulk has already come, I'll leave first!"

John, slender and slight, hid aside, watching the trembling giant pit from which a huge green fist rose into the sky.

Hulk! I am finally going to see the real you!

The enormous Hulk crawled out of the pit. Though his size was not inferior to Abomination's, his muscles, while not as hideous, were full of the beauty of strength.

"Roar!" A huge shockwave from Hulk's roar cleared out the debris in front of him.

The sound instantly attracted Abomination.

Abomination, originally Emil Blonsky, was born to defeat Hulk. He turned and looked at Hulk, standing 30 meters away.

"Hulk!" Abomination roared and charged.

The two giants' steps cracked the ground beneath them as they ran. Ten meters away, they jumped and collided mid-air above the street.

The collision of strength and power deeply stimulated John.

John's heart leaped with excitement. Five years! I finally saw this scene. It's too classic!

With the violent muscle clash, Hulk unexpectedly flew from Abomination's blow, rolling over a dozen meters away. Hulk staggered to his feet but couldn't stand firm, his body tilting as he fell again.

Abomination emerged from the fire, crushing a burning car underfoot. His right eye was almost healed. "Come on!"

Seeing this, John slapped his head fiercely. "Damn, I almost forgot. The current Hulk was forced out by Dr. Banner, with most of his power suppressed by inhibitory drugs. I have to help him!"

John wanted to step forward but saw Hulk's quick punches knocking Abomination to the ground, crushing him completely. Everything around seemed as fragile as tofu.

Abomination spat out a few broken teeth disdainfully. "Is this all you've got?"

Abomination kicked Hulk, sending him flying straight towards John, almost pinning him down.

The car door behind John rushed forward to support Hulk's body. John stepped back and thought, 'I'm just a squishy ADC now!'

Abomination also caught up, and the two muscular giants cleverly hammered each other around John.

The special metal pillars John carried were immediately attached to several key points on his body. Before he could evacuate quickly, he saw a massive yellow fist coming.

John only had time to raise his hands in defense. Though his body retreated wildly, the unparalleled impact force sent him flying more than ten meters away.

'Click! Click! Click!' With several crisp sounds, the bones in both his arms broke into several sections. The severe pain hit John's brain, almost making him faint.

The metal piece behind him cushioned his fall, supporting him fifty meters away or even farther. His hands drooped weakly, and each shake of his face brought the pain of bone stubble piercing. John's face was pale, cold sweat covering his forehead.

"Truly, an unstoppable force!"

Looking at the two battling giants, Abomination once again pressed Hulk to the ground, beating him wildly.

John forcibly calmed down, looking at the silhouettes of the two giants. 'Hurry up, think about it. Yes, weapons!'

The two metal strips and some wires he carried fixed his hands as he looked around in a hurry.

But in just a few seconds, the two giants had crossed several buildings and disappeared.

John soared into the sky and flew to a building. From a distance, he saw an armed helicopter shooting frantically at Abomination, but even the heavy machine guns caused little damage. Instead, they irritated Abomination further.

Abomination jumped up, grabbed the helicopter, and Hulk grabbed Abomination's calf just in time. The two giants fought while hanging from the helicopter, forcing it to land. The wings scattered, and the fuselage cracked open.

John rushed over. The weakened Hulk was thrown aside, and Abomination stood on the helicopter, looking down at Hulk. The helicopter's oil drum had broken open, and fuel flowed continuously.

Abomination slammed Hulk against the wall. No matter how much Hulk struggled, it was useless. Betty Ross watched helplessly from the broken helicopter cabin, despair in her eyes.

"You don't deserve this power. Just watch her die!" Emil Blonsky, having pursued power all his life, now Abomination, looked down on Hulk bound by ordinary means. Spittle flew from his mouth, eyes full of cruelty.

Abomination's elbow bone spurs had pierced Hulk's chest muscles.

An electrical short circuit ignited the kerosene outside the aircraft. Flames raged, instantly covering the helicopter.

John forced his palms together, controlling the helicopter's metal shell to close as much as possible. His right hand controlled a flying knife aimed at Abomination's head.

Abomination's head jerked forward, a silver knife deeply embedded in the back. At the same time, Hulk, enraged to the extreme, turned greener.

Hulk's muscles swelled, his skyrocketing power allowing him to break Abomination's hands. He lifted Abomination by the spine and slammed him against the factory wall, knocking down several walls.

Two steps forward, Hulk's fan-sized palms slapped hard as he roared, "Hulk smash!"

A huge shockwave rushed toward the helicopter, blowing away the oil stains and dust, extinguishing the flames. Betty Ross climbed out from a gap in the helicopter, "Be careful!"

Abomination, holding a massive iron chain with a stone pier, used it as a weapon. The counterweights added up to thousands of kilograms.

Abomination swung the chain at Hulk.

John, seeing the scene in time, shouted, "No!"

A point in his mind exploded. The iron chain slowed in the air, hovering over Hulk's head. "Hulk smash!" Hulk hit the ground with both fists. The resulting crack spread to Abomination, who stepped into it, loosening his grip on the chain. It fell into Hulk's hands.

John, covered in dust, finally laughed.

Exhausted, John tried to stay away from the approaching army. After crossing two blocks, he fell to the ground and lost consciousness.
