Han Xin found an empty bedroom down the well-lit hallway, its door creaking slightly as he pushed it open. The room was large with a king-sized bed that looked clean and comfortable.
He gently placed Xiang Yu on the mattress, making sure he was comfortable. Xiang Yu lay there, sleeping peacefully, his features softened in rest. He didn't seem like he would wake up anytime soon. Han Xin took off Xiang Yu's boots and tucked him into the quilt.
He then proceeded to pull out his sat phone and contact Han Zhan. As expected, Han Zhan had everything under control. He gave him a few instructions before hanging up the phone.
After that he climbed onto the bed beside Xiang Yu, mindful not to disturb him. As he settled in, he watched Xiang Yu's chest rise and fall with each breath. The tension of the day slipped from his body, and soon, exhaustion overtook him as well.
This was all he remembered.
