In Viridian City, in the pokemon center a young man with black and white hair stood in front of the front desk. This is Oliver, he was getting his pokemon back after giving them to Nurse joy for a check up.
Nurse Joy handed over the tray with his 6 pokeballs on it "Here are your pokemon back Mr. Black," Nurse Joy said today as Oliver nodded "Thank you Nurse Joy" Oliver said as he took the pokeballs from the tray and placed them on his belt.
His current team is Bulbasaur, Horsea, Pidgey, Weedle, Bellsprout, and Pikachu. "Well I should call professor Oak, I want to get caterpie" Oliver said as he bows to Nurse joy and walks over to a machine, a different machine compared to the phones.
"So this is the transfer machine, You have to call the person you want to transfer with, and then you're able to do long distance trades or transfers with professor Oak" Oliver said as he walked right up to the machine.
Looking at the machine he saw a scanner for his i.d, his pokedex flew out of his pocket and scanned my I.d that he had already opened on his pokedex.
The Machine beeped before it began scanning the i.d before it glowed a green light. As the green light glowed from the machine two buttons showed up on screen.

"So this is how it works, well I need to transfer with Professor Oak" Oliver said as he pressed on Professor Oak's name as it began ringing for a bit before eventually professor Oak popped up on the screen.
"Ah Oliver my boy, it seems you have been making big moves on your pokemon adventure, I've seen the pokemon that have been sent here to my lab" Professor Oak said with a somewhat sense of Pride.
"Haha thank's professor Oak, but I was hoping to get my Caterpie transferred over" Oliver said as professor Oak nodded. "Alright give me a minute to grab caterpie. Place the pokemon you wish to transfer over on that pedestal" Professor explained as he gave instructions to Oliver who placed the Pokeball of Pikachu on the pedestal.
"Ok the pokeball is on the pedestal, have you found caterpie" Oliver said as Professor nodded his head holding the pokeball in his hand as he placed it on something near his monitor.
"Caterpie should be there soon hang on" Professor Oak said as the pokeball on the pedestal glimmerd and disappeared before another pokeball appeared in it's place.
"I got your Bellsprout, so you must have your caterpie as well" professor oak said as Oliver nodded his head before grabbing the pokeball that appeared on the pedestal. "Thanks professor Oak"Oliver said as he put the pokeball on his belt where the rest of his pokemon were.
"Your so welcome Oliver My boy, I'm excited to see how you prosper on your Journey, Goodbye" professor Oak said as he ended the call as the pokedex dislodged from the machine and flew back into Oliver's pocket.
"It's weird that Rotomdex doesn't talk like Ash's or Gary's, well it's fine each pokemon has different personalities." Oliver said as he remembered the time he caught the Weedle and Caterpie.
"Those two are goons" Oliver said as he shook his head as he made his way out of the pokemon center into the backyard area. Each Pokemon center has an outside area that allows for trainers to play, train, or spend time with their pokemon.
Oliver walks out into the back yard as he sees trainers and pokemon having fun. Some were sleeping, some were battling, and some were taking care of their pokemon.
"Pokemon are amazing huh" Oliver said out loud with a smile on his face as he saw how pokemon and humans were living together. He quickly surveyed the area for an empty spot so he could let out his pokemon.
After a few seconds he eventually saw a perfect spot, It was a spot next to a small pond with a few trees nearbye. "Thats perfect" Oliver said as he began making his way over to the spot.
Getting to the spot he sat down in the grass before opening his back pack and getting out a blanket he can sit on. "Come out you guys" He said as he released his pokemon from their pokeballs.
Out came his pokemon; Bulbasaur, Pidgey, Horsea, Weedle, Caterpie, and Pikachu. "Hey guys, I have food for you" Oliver said as he brought out a bag of pokemon food for all of them, except Bulbasaur.
Grabbing a special bag of Pokemon food that he had especially for Bulbasaur. "Pii/Bulb/Pika/Wee/Seaa" The five pokemon said as he started pouring Food into separate bowls for each of them.
Oliver looked at his pokemon as they sat on the blanket waiting for their food, He saw his Bulbasaur, Pikachu, and Pidgey playing around, Horsea was Floating around in the water. Seeing this he smiled.
Looking Over to his two remaining party members, he seens the two of them running around, this caused Oliver to frown. His Caterpie was chasing his Weedle around while Weddle was making loud cries, as suddenly Weedle began to run towards Oliver.
"Too think I have an asshole Caterpie" Oliver said as he sighed, When he caught the two of them the Caterpie was beating up Weedle.
And even now Caterpie is trying to beat up Weedle again. "Hey Bulbasaur help me out here, Pick up Caterpie with your vines" Oliver commanded Bulbasaur who nodded his head before his vines shot out and grabbed the Caterpie by the end of his tail.
The Weedle continued running towards Oliver, as Oliver bent down and caught him in his arms. "You gotta man up, Weedle, you can't just let Caterpie pick on you, "Oliver said as he pet the top of Weedle's head, as He then set him down.
Weedle nodded his little head before looking at Caterpie, who glared at him with his little Caterpie eyes, this made Weedle shiver before hiding behind Oliver's leg's who started laughing.
Looking at his Caterpie while laughing, he bent over and picked him up into his arms from Bulbasaur's vines "Come on little man, you gotta be nicer to tghe other's there your new friends and family from now on" Oliver said with his smile as Bulbasaur made a "Saur" noise.
