Inside one of the offices of the Northwest camp of the warrior department.
Today was a rare day for Vice-Commander Tora Mima.
He was substituted by a new Captain, who enthusiastically said to do the rest of the work for him.
Happily agreeing, He went back to his office to rest for the whole day.
As one of the Four Vice Commander of the Department, his job was very hard.
Not only does he have to oversee the training of the recruits, he also needs to check the state of the completion rates of the camp as well as the budget and even the other cities and villages routes that he was given with.
So a rare day off like today was something he was not going to let go.
*Knock! Knock! Knock!
Or so he thought.
"Uggh!! Come in!"
The person who opened the door was a blonde hair beautiful receptionist.
"What is it Momo? I just sat in my chair you know!!"
Momo, the receptionist who engaged with Eiji slowly talked.
"Uhhmm.. sorry for disturbing you sir, I looked for other captains but there weren't any of them in the offices, and I heard that you were here so.."
"Uugghh... Fine! So what is it?!"
"So sir, a young man downstairs has something to report in regards with a team of the department!"
Frowning, Mima asked.
"What did he say?!"
"Uhhmm.. nothing sir, he just said a situation regarding one of the teams of the department!"
"Hmm!!"
Mima nodded his head.
If it was something that needs a high ranking officer and a situation from a team, not making it public was the right choice.
'It seems like the person that is reporting is from another camp or maybe from entirely different department'
Musing to himself, he looked at Momo.
"Let him up!"
"Understood sir!"
---
*Knock! Knock! Knock!
In less than a minute, Tora Mima heard another knocking sound.
"Sigh!! Come In!!"
Sighing to himself, he acknowledged the knock.
On the other side.
As Eiji was escorted by the blonde Receptionist, who he happent to look at her name tag, which says Momo, Eiji entered the office of the Vice Commander Tora Mima.
Momo had already told him who the person he would be speaking with.
Knowing that it was an unusually high rank officer that would be meeting him, she explained that there were no other captains free within the moment and even the vice commander was only free today in a rare case.
--
When Eiji entered the room, he saw a man in his early thirties. With brown hair and sharp features, he was a very handsome man.
Bowing his head slightly, Eiji greeted him and stated his reason.
"Hello sir! I am Noya Eiji! I am the person that has somerhing to report about!"
"Hmm!"
Mima nodded his head.
"I'll be going then sir!"
"Hmm! Good job!"
Momo also exited the scene after letting Eiji inside the office.
"So, what is this situation that you are reporting that needs some high ranking officer?!"
Eiji sensed the irate of the man in front of him.
Had he not been told by Momo that he had a rare rest day today and was being disrupted, he would have thought this was his normal personality.
"Yessir!"
Without any shyness or lack of respect, Eiji slowly talked about Renji's Situation.
In front of him, As Eiji slowly told him the situation, the more Tora Mima rubbed his forehead in agony.
---
"Sigh! Dammit!!"
After hearing the whole situation, Mima couldn't help but curse out loud.
Anything noble related was a very troublesome task, in that, Mima was very clear of.
The only silver lining in this situation is that, only the son of the noble is causing trouble.
Unless the noble himself and other bothersome guys appear and mess up the situation, as long as Renji hold out and pull him out of that situation, it would be resolved.
Mima looked at Eiji and nodded.
"I understand the situation now. I will handle this task myself as anything with regarding with nobility could either be resolve easily or very troublesome to clear with.
I appreciate your report on the situation and I will apologize for what has happened to your friend."
Eiji shook his head.
"Please do not apologize to me, but to Renji, he has been very troubled every day. Even his teammates were being blackmailed and he even has to complete tasks alone or continuously without any rest, he doesn't even get the right amount of payment he should be getting.
I just hope that you could resolve this quickly, cause even I have a hard time controlling myself just watching a friend of mine suffer from the unreasonableness of a noble!"
*SWOOSH!!!!
"!!!"
Vice Commander Tora Mima, at this moment, felt the intense killing intent of the small and shy child infront of him.
But it wasn't that the killing intent that bothers him so, it was the sharpness of his aura that made him feel as though he was being cut into peices just by sitting in front of him!
*SWOOSH!!!
"AH! I apologize for that!"
Realizing he unconsciously emitted out his killing intent, Eiji apologized to Mima as he bowed hurriedly.
He understood that the man in front of him was the Vice Commander of the Whole Warrior Department of the Kingdom. And he himself was a Grandmaster Level swordsman!
His act of unleashing such killing intent could be seen as hubris and insubordination to a certain extent!
*Sigh!
Mima took a deep breathe as he looked deeply at Eiji.
'Such concentrated killing intent and that polished sharpness along with it...this kid...'
His thoughts trailed to a certain two departments.
He ultimately discarded the Shimin Training Department, despite being a trainee, any person that is admitted to that department, in a certain extent could be a small celebrity within the city, but he hasn't heard of this kid at all.
'He should be from that department huh..'
"Uhhmm..sir???"
"Hmm?!"
"Oh! Yeah! It's fine! That was just a burst of emotion! I completely understand!"
"Sigh! Thank you so much!"
"Hmm!"
"So uhmm sir! I will be going now! Once again thank you so much!"
"No need for so many thanks! I should be the one thanking you, if you didn't report this to me, I wouldn't have known about it!"
"Hmm! I will be going now sir!"
"Okay! Good work!"
Bowing his head, Eiji exited the room with relief.
Meanwhile, Mima stared at the door closed by Eiji.
'Noya Eiji huh....'
"But first... Renji Barto! Tsk! Damned Nobles!"
As a commoner, he knew exactly how oppressive these nobles were.
Fortunately or unfortunately, in his earlier years, there was a war going on, which made him gain merits until he had a high enough status in the military and then enough power and strength to back up this authority that he had finally been able to stand up and resist against them to a certain extent.
He wasn't about to let a fine young man, or any other commoner swordsmen be easily oppressed and bullied by nobility!
