The way the tower worked was that on floors 1 through 12, you would solo fight, and then on floor 13, you could, with a max of 5 people, fight an entry E-rank beast.
Floor 1: entry G-rank — floor 2: low G-rank — floor 3: mid G-rank
Floor 4: high G-rank — floor 5: peak G-rank — floor 6: half-step G-rank
Floor 7: entry F-rank — floor 8: low F-rank — floor 9: mid F-rank
Floor 10: high F-rank — floor 11: peak F-rank — floor 12: half-step F-rank
Then on floor 13, they would meet back up again and fight 5 versus 1 against the entry E-rank.
Xander then vanished, entering the first floor.
He looked around and found that he was on a circular platform with nothing but the abyss of the void stretching endlessly around him.
'A little creepy,' he thought, curious about what would happen if he fell off the platform.
