"Obviously!" Ash didn't deny the accusation, responding with a casual shrug.

"Do you have any idea what you've done?!" Kaz snarled through gritted teeth when he witnessed Ash's nonchalance. "We worked so hard to establish this gym! I heard the officials from the League are already on their way."

In other words, their gym might have soon received official certification from the League, but now, it would definitely fall short of requirements.

"It's nothing," Ash replied calmly, observing the two furious men. "I just wanted you to experience the same despair that the citizens feel. This is the retribution you deserve."

However, both men were blinded by rage at this moment and couldn't recognize their mistakes. Right now, they looked ready to tear Ash apart.

"You brat! I'll never let you get away with this!" Kaz shouted. "Go, Electabuzz!"

"This kid ruined my gym! I'm going to teach him a lesson myself," Yas growled. "Kaz, don't interfere! Come on out, Scyther!"

Yas hurled his Poké Ball unceremoniously. Even as their Pokémon emerged, the two gym leaders continued arguing, neither willing to back down.

"Who cares about your opinion!" Kaz ignored Yas completely and launched the first attack. "Electabuzz, use Thunderbolt!" Upon hearing the command, Electabuzz raised its arms as the antenna above its head began emitting electricity.

The electric current quickly enveloped Electabuzz's entire body before surging forward. Powerful lightning streaked through the air toward Ash and Pikachu. Ash narrowed his eyes at the incoming attack.

"Pikachu, Thunderbolt!"

Facing Kaz's Electabuzz's menacing attack, Ash commanded Pikachu with remarkable composure.

"Pika~CHUUU!!!"

Pikachu leaped high into the air, unleashing its own Thunderbolt as a counterattack. The two electric currents collided directly mid-air. Lightning flashed brilliantly, creating a dazzling display of light even in broad daylight.

"Now, Scyther, use Cut!"

Seeing Ash occupied with countering Kaz's Electabuzz, Yas seized the opportunity. At his command, Scyther rushed forward. Its razor-sharp scythes glowed with blue light as it slashed directly toward Ash.

"Hmph! Fraxure, Dragon Claw!"

Facing Yas's underhanded sneak attack, Ash remained unfazed. He hadn't expected these two to fight fairly anyway. As Scyther charged forward, Ash tossed another Poké Ball.

"RAAWR!!!"

BOOM!

A fierce roar echoed as Fraxure materialized from the light. Confronting the attacking Scyther, Fraxure extended its claws, which glowed with intense green energy forming a pair of devastating dragon claws.

One claw collided with Scyther's blade. The impact resonated with astonishing force, sending Scyther's scythe bouncing backward. Simultaneously, Fraxure's other claw swung outward.

WHAM!

The second claw struck Scyther squarely in the face, sending it flying backward. Scyther spread its wings to slow its momentum, then landed firmly on both feet, skidding backward.

The mantis Pokémon narrowed its eyes defiantly, wiped its face with the back of its blade, then regarded Fraxure with newfound respect.

"Hah! Completely useless!" Kaz mocked Yas while watching this scene unfold.

Yas gritted his teeth at the taunt. It was undeniably embarrassing that his sneak attack had failed, but this also made him realize that the trainer before them was far more skilled than he had initially assumed.

However, while Kaz was busy mocking Yas, he failed to notice the determined glint in Pikachu's eyes as it continued its electric standoff with Electabuzz.

"PIKAAA!!!"

Pikachu's battle cry rang out as the electricity coursing through its body suddenly intensified. The yellow mouse's electrical output gradually overwhelmed Electabuzz's.

CRASH!!!

Electabuzz clearly hadn't expected Pikachu's electricity to overpower its own. Before it could react, its Thunderbolt was pushed back, and Pikachu's supercharged attack struck Electabuzz directly.

Although Electabuzz was an Electric-type Pokémon, and Electric-type moves weren't very effective against it, it would still take damage. After all, this Electabuzz hadn't fully evolved yet, and without the Motor Drive ability, it couldn't absorb electric attacks.

While Electabuzz would typically shrug off electric attacks, the sheer power behind Pikachu's Thunderbolt caused it visible pain.

"What?!" Kaz exclaimed in surprise. He couldn't believe that such a small Pikachu possessed electric power that surpassed his Electabuzz's.

BOOM!

As Pikachu's Thunderbolt intensified, Electabuzz was engulfed in an explosion. Smoke billowed outward as Pikachu landed gracefully, electricity still crackling from its red cheeks.

Pikachu's electrical prowess had been honed to exceptional levels, and with the Light Ball given by Sparky, the power of its Electric-type special moves had dramatically increased. Even Electric-type Pokémon like Electabuzz couldn't completely resist such concentrated power.

"Is this kid really that strong?" Kaz no longer dared to take Ash lightly. Just moments ago, he'd been mocking Yas, but now he found himself humbled by a trainer much younger than himself.

"It seems this kid isn't an ordinary trainer," Yas observed, eyeing Ash carefully. "I think we should put aside our differences temporarily and deal with him first!"

"Fine... I won't argue with you for now. Just don't get in my way!" Kaz reluctantly agreed, recognizing the predicament they were in. This young trainer was capable of commanding two Pokémon simultaneously with remarkable skill.

They likely couldn't defeat him individually. Though the thought was distasteful, they realized the enemy of their enemy was their friend. Setting aside their pride, they chose to combine forces against Ash.

Meanwhile, Misty and Brock arrived on the scene, watching as Ash handled the situation alone.

The restaurant owner from earlier and several children also gathered around. Witnessing the unfair battle, the children spoke up indignantly.

"That's so unfair! Two against one is totally cowardly!" The child leading the group grew increasingly anxious as he watched. Worried that Ash might be overwhelmed, he turned to Misty and Brock. "Aren't you going to help him?"

"No need to worry," Brock replied calmly, arms crossed over his chest.

"Ash doesn't appreciate others interfering when he's battling," Misty added with a knowing smile, demonstrating her deep understanding of Ash's battling style. She watched confidently as Ash faced the two gym leaders without showing a hint of concern.

The children looked confused but turned back to watch the battle unfold. Despite being outnumbered, Ash stood tall, his expression determined. Pikachu's cheeks sparked with electricity while Fraxure assumed a battle stance, both Pokémon ready to continue fighting for their trainer against the underhanded gym leaders.
