'She must have arrived while I was asleep,' Anthony thought to himself, as he hadn't noticed her entering his room.
Of course, it wasn't that his senses were dull whenever he was asleep. No, if it had been an assassin or anyone with ulterior motives, Anthony would have sensed them the moment they stepped foot into the Null Estate and reacted accordingly, whether he was asleep or not.
But this was Vega, the love of his life. His mind, body, and soul felt safe around her, whether she sneaked into his room in the middle of the night or not.
