"You may be actually wondering—why is Sensei Yasu yapping about fear? How is this going to help us in the fight?" Yasu's deep voice echoed through the training hall, steady and deliberate. His arms folded across his chest as he stood tall, scanning the faces of his students. "I am not saying you should rely on fear in battle. What I am saying is this: you must learn to manage your fear, or at the very least, overcome it."
The four students shifted slightly where they sat. The words carried weight. They were not empty lessons meant to sound wise—they pressed against the rawest parts of their beings.
Sutefu, her face lit with curiosity, leaned forward. "And how do we overcome our fear?"
