The principal stepped into the hospital ward and made her way to the center, where Kaijin lay on the bed, Jesse on his left, Sutefu on his right.
"How's the recovery process for you all?" she asked, standing still, her eyes moving between the three.
"Well, my bones were broken," Sutefu began, her voice slightly strained, "but somehow, these bandages the nurse wrapped me with… they're helping me recover quickly."
"I heard Dr. Sero made them," Kaijin added.
He shifted slightly in bed, wincing. "At least I can move my toes. He says mine's a critical condition. Might take longer than Sutefu and Jesse's recovery process."
"Actually…" Jesse's voice interrupted, calm and low. He slowly raised a hand and peeled away the bandages wrapped around his face, revealing smooth, fully healed skin down to his shoulders.
Kaijin and Sutefu's eyes widened, thoughts flashing instantly in their minds.
"He's recovered already?"
