Chiang Qing walked out the door, but soon discovered that she couldn't even find anyone involved in the underworld because they all wanted to catch her.
She was lucky, living in this alley with people who were all down and out like migrant workers and streetwalkers. She stayed here for a few days and got to know two of the street workers.
When she went out, it was them who stopped her, saying to be careful outside. There were gang members everywhere now looking for someone.
Chiang Qing still didn't understand what "looking for someone" meant, and the two heavily made-up prostitutes giggled, explaining it meant recognizing someone and finding them.
"I've heard they're looking for some woman, right?" one of the women asked.
The other woman glanced at Chiang Qing and said, "If it weren't for that scar on your face, dressed a bit more fashionably, you'd look quite like her."
