Chiang Qing walked past Cheng Su, pausing in her steps and turning her head to look.
Their eyes met, and unexpectedly, there was no spark, just boundless indifference.

Cheng Su looked at her blandly, without speaking.
"Your son is quite adorable!" Chiang Qing added, a flicker igniting in her eyes as she saw Cheng Su's face change instantly. She couldn't help but feel pleased and satisfied, strutting away in her high heels.
Cheng Su watched Chiang Qing's back, her lips slightly pursed, eyebrows furrowed tightly. What did she mean by those words? She knows she has a son and even said he's cute?
Upon seeing Chiang Qing, she didn't feel anything shocking or strange; she viewed her as if seeing a stranger, her heart surprisingly serene.
