Standing before her was a woman in her fifties, holding a dark red umbrella, who had pulled Ye Xi up.

She turned her head to look at the red sports car that had run a red light and sped past.
All she saw were two red taillights quickly disappearing from view.
The woman picked up Ye Xi's phone from the ground and handed it back to her, also looking in the direction the sports car went, grumbling: "These young people nowadays, they're really reckless, driving such good cars and racing in the city, probably drunk driving too. If something happens, it'll be their regret."
The woman complained about the person driving through the red light, then patted Ye Xi's shoulder, saying: "Kid, you got scared, right?"
