"Are you hungry?"
Ye Xi looked at the two slightly scorched eggs in the pan.
Lu Lingxiao turned his head and said, "Youyou said he's hungry."
Ye Xi walked over, naturally took the spatula from his hand, and turned off the heat.
"Let me do it."
Although Lu Lingxiao could make a simple meal, the presentation really wasn't appetizing.
Ye Xi turned around and rummaged through the drawer, finding a few packs of instant noodles inside.
She ushered the father and son out of the kitchen, and in about 10 minutes, there were two bowls of noodles, each with a poached egg on top.
The father and son finally had a warm, decent dinner.
The little guy finished all the soup in his bowl and looked up, fully satisfied.
He asked, "Do you think we look like a family of three?"
Ye Xi was taken aback, and then her expression softened.
But Lu Lingxiao spoke up before she could, "We're about to be a family of three, as long as you don't cause trouble..."
