An Yan opened the cage, lifted it out, and placed it into Mu Enyu's hands.
Before Mu Enyu had a firm hold, the creature zipped back onto An Yan's body.
It even shamelessly tried to burrow into her pocket!
An Yan unceremoniously plucked it out again and placed it back into Mu Enyu's hands, giving it a stern look.
Little Squirrel instantly settled down and sat motionless in Mu Enyu's hands.
Mu Enyu didn't mind its previous antics at all and even treated it like a treasure, offering it a handful of pine nuts.
Little Squirrel was immediately drawn to the pine nuts and gnawed on them contentedly.
While petting the squirrel, Mu Enyu chattered away, sharing with An Yan the school news during her absence:
"You know, Xu Muwei has returned to class; she's in Class Two now. She even declared that she's going to lead the whole of Class Two to outperform us."
