Pu Yanlan pointed to the now calm sea surface, where people on a few large ships were busy repairing the vessels damaged in the giant waves. She then pointed to a wedding procession passing through the streets of the city.
"Look... Aren't the people here just like those in our world, experiencing birth, aging, illness, death, weddings, funerals, and marriages?"
Gu Shi Yi looked carefully, amazed and intrigued.
"Indeed, I just assumed these were illusions before, never imagined they were part of a real world... But... what does this have to do with me?"
She looked down at her hands, which had regained much of their elasticity. Soon, they would likely return to their original state!
Pu Yanlan sighed and pointed to the Blood Pond beneath the giant sphere.
"Look carefully..."
Gu Shi Yi looked closely and saw wisps of gray fog rising, faintly forming human shapes.
"Is this... are these souls?"
Pu Yanlan nodded.
