Xu Si paused. She had originally intended to explain the recent situation to him, but the words died on her lips. He was going to Germany for an exam; if he heard about this, he wouldn't be willing to leave. It wasn't that she was being overly confident; she simply knew the young man's heart too well. "Because I'll be going back soon too. The reasons I've stayed are because the company is very busy, and also because of you. If you decide to stay in Germany, then I won't have to worry about you being alone on Hong Kong Island anymore. This is a good thing for both of us."
