"So... now what?" Henry asked with curiosity when everyone looked at each other but remained silent. "Are we just going to stare at each other or what?"
"Of course not! Why would we do something like that?" Mia chuckled while shaking her head at this suggestion. "Let's start by getting more drinks, then we can talk about our past experiences."
"I like the sound of that," Jasmin said with a nod of approval, agreeing with Mia's idea. Then she looked at her brother-in-law and added, "Why don't you join Henry and make yourself comfortable on the bed? Mia and I will bring some drinks here for all of us."
"Sure, why not?" Adam shrugged as he decided to do what she had suggested. He saw that his brother was already sitting on the edge of the bed, so he walked over there and sat beside him.
"Be right back!" Mia announced as she left the room, with Jasmin following suit.
Adam watched his wife walk away from the room before turning towards his brother. "So... is there anything that you'd like to talk about? It's not every day we get a chance to do something like this."
"Sure. We can talk about anything," Henry said with a nod while thinking of something interesting they could discuss. Eventually, he decided to tell him about his current situation. "You know, I still can't believe that I'm a father now..."
"I see. But you'll get used to it. Just take it easy and give it time. There's no rush in anything. You just have to enjoy the moment and think about what your daughter needs most at that moment. Don't be overprotective or overbearing with her either. Let things progress naturally," Adam explained as if he were an expert in parenting, although it wasn't far from the truth given the amount of time he spent taking care of Oliver and Amara since they were still babies.
