Meanwhile, the others stayed up chatting in the living room. Jasmin had brought out a bottle of whiskey for them to enjoy. They sipped on the liquor while continuing their discussions.
Adam and Jane chatted about Henry and his recent accomplishments in the field of business. This was a topic that Adam felt comfortable with, and Jane loved hearing about Henry's achievements and growth. She found it reassuring to know that her son was doing well.
As for Mia, she talked to Jasmin about fashion trends and women's clothing design. This was a common topic for women.
They both got along quite well with each other, as Mia found that Jasmin was a very understanding person to be around.
"So, have you decided on what dress you're going to wear for the wedding? Did the priest give you any specific instructions on what should be worn?" Mia asked with curiosity.
"No, there wasn't any mention of something like that in the temple's instructions. They simply told us to come in and proceed with the ceremony." Jasmin answered with an amused chuckle. "So, I think they would be the ones to choose for us whatever attire we need to wear for this event!"
"Oh, I see!" Mia exclaimed before continuing with another question, "By the way, can I ask you something about Henry? It might be a bit personal, so tell me if you don't want to talk about it!"
"Of course, feel free to ask! And I'll tell you if it's something I cannot reveal." Jasmin didn't hesitate much before saying yes.
After a brief pause to collect her thoughts, Mia voiced what was bothering her at the back of her head. "Well... is Henry a nice man to be with? You know what I mean..."
She glanced at the man in question before returning her attention to the woman beside her.
At the sudden question, Jasmin became surprised for a moment and looked at Mia before saying, "Yes, he is. But why are you asking me this?"
She couldn't help but wonder why this topic suddenly came up when they were talking about something else. It confused her that Mia even mentioned something like this right now!
"Ah! I was just curious. You two seem to be getting along fine, so I wondered if he treats you well." Mia clarified herself without saying anything that might upset the other woman. Then, she asked something else, "Do you enjoy being with him?"
"Yes, I do enjoy his company very much! And yes, I'm also having a lot of fun with him during sex," Jasmin added without hesitation.
Mia nodded her head at the answer given by Jasmin before leaning closer towards her. She put a hand on Jasmin's shoulder and whispered into her ear, "Then why did you cheat on him with my son?"
Jasmin froze at that statement, her body stiffening as she tried to process what she heard. Then, slowly, her gaze met Mia's, and she saw her giving a knowing smirk in her direction.
"How? How did you...?" Jasmin asked while trying to stay calm despite her nervousness. But it was already too late since Mia knew their secret.
Mia let out a short giggle, giving a little nod in approval before replying, "You may have been able to hide your expressions earlier, but your body language betrayed you. Plus, I know my son very well. So, it wasn't difficult for me to guess what he did with you. He had that satisfied expression of someone who just fucked a beautiful woman!"
At the realization, Jasmin swallowed hard as she felt a lump forming in her throat. She didn't know what to do now after her secret came out, and she felt very uneasy being found out.
Yes, it was true that she cheated on Henry with Oliver and did so without any regret. However, she thought there wasn't going to be anyone finding them out since even when Henry came to them, they were able to avoid being discovered.
'That damn boy... He made things more complicated. To think his mother would figure it out so easily...' Jasmin cursed in her heart before thinking about something else. 'Wait... How does Mia know what expression Oliver makes after having sex? There has to be some reason for this!'
Mia chuckled as she saw the look of bewilderment on Jasmin's face. She found it very amusing to see such a reaction coming from Jasmin.
"It's fine, Jasmin. I don't have any issue with this. I actually am proud of my naughty son for taking an opportunity to make love with you. To think he can do that despite meeting you just hours ago..." Mia praised, showing no signs of being displeased at all.
This was an unexpected reaction for Jasmin, and seeing Mia so calm about her cheating with Oliver confused her more.
So, she couldn't stop herself from asking Mia why she didn't care about this. "Why? Shouldn't you be upset that I'm doing something like this behind Henry's back? Especially because I'm already married to him? Why are you being so accepting of it?"
"Well... that's because..." Mia paused and turned towards Henry. "I know that being with someone else while married makes things exciting."
Jasmin was shocked to hear that admission coming from Mia's lips. 'So, she also likes getting naughty with different men outside of her marriage?'
"Don't tell me... You have also cheated on Adam?" Jasmin gasped as she whispered this question to Mia. She couldn't believe that her brother-in-law's wife was so promiscuous.
At the question, Mia laughed and replied, "It isn't anything serious, though. And I never cheated on Adam in the first place! He simply let me have sex with other men on his permission. Like when I had sex with Oliver!"
Jasmin was taken aback at this revelation and couldn't help but ask, "Did you really have sex with your own son?"
