In the heart of the bustling studio, instead of the usual lively energy, a heavy silence hung in the air, as Emery sat in stillness, his presence radiating an intense aura that seemed to envelop the room.
With Emery's manager and the team gathered in the studio, their usual lively chatter was replaced by hushed whispers and exchanged glances. The manager, usually a pillar of support and organization, now stood uncertain, trying to decipher the unspoken emotions that lingered in the air.
The rest of the team was supposed to be there for a creative session, but instead they were ensnared in the knot of tension that Emery's quiet presence created, not knowing how to move through the strange environment that surrounded them.
Just then, Alexina rushed in.
She glanced around and saw Emery sitting quietly on the couch as he hugged his legs.
She then turned to the manger who gave her a 'I also don't know what is going on.' look.
Alexina nodded which made the manager make them all leave including the manager himself.
Then Alexina approached Emery, who was not even conscious of his surroundings.
"Emmy?" She called out softly but it seemed he didn't hear her.
Stepping in front of him, she approached him more closely.
"Emery." She called out again, and he slowly looked up to see Alexina staring at him with worried eyes.
She moved closer and squatted Infront of him.
"W-what are you doing, sit down-" Emery tried to speak as he urged her to sit but she refused.
"Forget about me and tell me what's going on? You don't look like yourself today." She said as she stared at him while squatting.
Emery remained silent in response to the question.
Seeing this made Alexina exhale.
Then she stood and took a seat next to him.
"You got your first break up right?" She asked which made his turn sharply to her.
"H-how do you know?". He questioned, a little taken aback because he had not told anyone.
"So I'm right?" She asked with a smile.
She then placed her hand on his.
"You looked familiar...and reminded me of myself.when I broke up with my ex for cheating on me." She replied as she stared at her hand on his.
"I-I did not break up with her because she cheated; instead, I discovered that she does not feel anything for me and that I am just a tool to help her get closer to brother Elian. She ended our relationship shortly after I introduced her to my family, because Elian brought a girl home." He spoke as he looked at Alexina, who was paying close attention.
"Elian brought a girl home? U-uh I mean, you don't have to be that upset that you two broke up, it's a good thing this happened at least, things didn't get worse, like you getting married to her." Alexina replied with a little smile which made Emery pull his hands away.
"That's not the point lexa. I thought I have finally found someone, and also be of help to my family since they always wanted a daughter. Well, at least Elian brought a girl home though it looked a bit suspicious...and to think I was beginning to fall for someone." He said as he looked away.
Alexina gave a slight smile.
"Why do I find it so cute to see you sulking?" She replied, which surprised him, so he turned to face her.
"I thought you came to make me feel better?" He asked with narrowed eyes.
She smiled even more.
"Says who? I like seeing this rare side of you. I have no idea the next time I'll see it again." She replied.
Emery was at a loss for words; she was obviously trying to make fun of him.
Just as he was about to look away, she forced him to face her by cupping his cheeks.
He looked into her eyes, startled by what she had done.
"You just need to understand that she does not deserve you or to be an Everton." She said with a smile.
He was unable to look away from her face. She was looking so beautiful as she stared at him-saying those words.
"She doesn't know what she's lost, don't you know many girls are dying to be with SME! There are a tonne of girls who are eager to spend even just dinner with you. So stop sulking and move on. Make the most out of your life." She said with a toothy smile as she left his cheeks.
Slowly, he found himself also smiling.
"Honestly, I do not know why she abandoned you for Elian. He isn't all that great. I feel nervous and bored when I'm around him. I like you better." She said.
"Re-really? Lexa?" He asked as his smile dropped.
"Of course, you are my bestfriend. Comon, let's go to the Arcade or even a fun park." She said as she took his hand and dragged him out of the recording studio.

'why do I have to sit at the back seat?' Ariane thought to herself as she looked out the window.
She is still not sure why he made her sit with him in the back seat when all he was doing was staring at his phone.
Sometimes, she wishes to know what is going on in his head, it can't be because of his family?
She isn't being watched right?
She instantly sat up and turned to see if any cars were trailing them.
"Do you have any problems, miss Niles." The deep voice caught her attention, and she quickly turned to face Elian.
However, his gaze remained fixed on his phone.
She sighed, straightened her posture, and kept staring out the window.
"You don't have to go to the office again." She looked over at him because he was staring at his phone, which was getting on her nerves. At least he should look at her.
"Oh, then you can drop me off at the next bus stop."
"That's not necessary. You'll be taken home." Her eyes widened at his response.
"W-what? N-no you don't have to, I can get home from here." She stated.
Elian lifted his head and looked at her.
"Of course I have to... My family, doesn't believe my relationship with you. Especially when my grandfather hears about us. He's really smart so we have to act like the perfect couple." Hearing that made her stomach churn.
"And since you work there, the company knows everything about you, including your address." He continued.
Ariane turned away without saying anything.
They reached her flat a few minutes later.
When she looked back at him, he was still engrossed in his phone.
"Thank you." She said. Just because he was ill-mannered did not mean she would forget her manners.
He remained silent, so she got down. Just then, the car drove off.
Ariane sighed, about to go in when Jenny stopped her from behind.
"A-Ari, Arie, was that your boss?" Jenny asked as she caught up to Ariane.
She had just gotten down from a cab when she noticed the luxurious car- BMW 7 series.
Given that it is an expensive car and Ariane does not know many people, it would obviously be her boss. Furthermore, Ariane would not get into a stranger's vehicle.
"Mn," Ariane answered and proceeded to the apartment's door.
"Really? Why would he drop you off... could there be something happening?" Jenny inquired as she pursued Ariane.
"Ewww! Jenny! Do not curse me. Impossible. You are so unbelievable." Ariane said, a bit pissed off which got Jenny confused.
