"Is that so? You guys should hurry up and have one too." Jian Xi said with a smile, sneaking bites of her son's ice cream.
Mother and son both have high looks, truly pleasing to the eye!
"Speak your piece, or hang up if there's nothing." Edward said irritably.
"Qiao Jiaying has been kidnapped, do you guys know?" Jian Xi said.
"You know too?" Ye Qiu was momentarily stunned.
Jian Xi looked at Ye Qiu: "Qiao Jiaying called me for help."
"Then... are you going to rescue her now?" Ye Qiu asked softly, as the car Jian Xi was in kept moving.
"I'm not going." Jian Xi took another bite of ice cream.
Ye Qiu's heart sank.
"Such a small matter doesn't require me to take action." Jian Xi smiled slightly, "Ye Qiu, will you save Qiao Jiaying?"
Ye Qiu nodded vigorously: "Absolutely!"
"Why?" Jian Xi asked.
"Because she is my friend." Ye Qiu bit her lip, "For me, she's already asked you for help several times."
