The cute childish voice dissolved much of Jian Xi's turmoil inside. She looked down at her son. Little Pumpkin's little face was becoming more and more like Nan Mufeng's.
"Mommy, the wind is picking up outside. Grandma told you to wear more clothes." Little Pumpkin said.
Jian Xi finally calmed down. She stroked her son's head and smiled, "Alright, I'll go put on more clothes."
Jian Xi returned to the room, took a jacket from the closet, and then went downstairs hand in hand with Little Pumpkin.
In the living room, Yu Ling was knitting a sweater while Nan Tian was reading a newspaper. The harmonious family scene was only missing Nan Mufeng.
"Xiao Xi, it's cold today. How about we make hotpot at home tonight?" Yu Ling asked with a smile.
Jian Xi nodded, suppressing all her thoughts: "Okay!"
"Yay, that's great! I love eating hotpot the most!" Little Pumpkin jumped up joyfully, "Mommy, when we eat hotpot later, can we video call Daddy?"
