Over ten minutes later, Nan Mufeng arrived. The black tailored suit perfectly outlined his figure. With a high nose, thin lips, well-groomed eyebrows, and dark eyes, he exuded the aura of an Overbearing CEO with every move.
Jian Xi sat behind the desk, watching the man who barged in, a bit entranced.
"What are you looking at?" Nan Mufeng sat on her desk and waved his hand in front of her face.
"Looking at you." Jian Xi smiled slightly and reached out to tug at his tie, "Dressed like this at work, how can your female colleagues focus?"
Nan Mufeng chuckled, "Not at ease?"
"A little." Jian Xi nodded softly.
"Then should I stay at home as a house husband while you take care of me?"
"Sure!" Jian Xi giggled, "But then you won't have any authority as the husband."
"Authority? What's that? Do we have it at home?"
"Hahaha, no!" Jian Xi burst into laughter at his joke, and Nan Mufeng laughed too. The morning's exhaustion dissipated in each other's smiles.
