Rui Kun quickly scrambled to his feet, his head swarming with questions as he looked at the girl.
She gazed at him adoringly, smiling without a word. After all, the languages they could communicate in were limited.
"Hey," Rui Kun sighed, pulling out his vibrating phone to check it, then stuffed it back into his pocket.
As he had anticipated, his vacation had come to a premature end!
"I have to go now," Rui Kun told the girl in the local language.
The girl was startled, tears quickly filling her big eyes: "Take me with you..."
"Can't do that," Rui Kun spread his hands helplessly.
"I want to go with you..."
"No, no, no!" Rui Kun shook his head, waved at the girl, and then went back to his rented room to pack his things.
The girl had feelings... he understood! But he had come here on a whim for a vacation, and he would never come here again!
