In another airspace, on a larger Sky Island, six examinees encountered a red-black Magical Girl.
Even with such a large numerical advantage, after a brief skirmish, five of the examinees had exhausted their magic power, reverted back to normal, and collapsed to the ground. Only one remained, kneeling, gritting teeth, and glaring at the opponent.
"Maybe it's a Remnant Beast?"
The red-black Magical Girl, or rather Arrowroot, floated down from the sky with a smile. The pitch-black smoke turned into a noose around the examinee's neck in front of her: "But I don't want to delve into this topic. Hand over the number tag, or else I'll have to make you suffer a bit."
"I spit!"
The kneeling examinee spat out: "My number tag is hanging right on my chest, if you want it, take it! Stop pretending here!"
