Immediately after, Qiu Tu also eliminated Twilight.
The reason was simple. In the relationship and actions among these three Evil Gods, Twilight was clearly in a "supporting" or even "bystander" position.
He had always acted alongside Whale Shark and Xie Yue. However... one, he didn't descend an avatar, two, he didn't refine node veins.
His "investment" was way too little. If he was plotting to toy with Xinjie City's three major institutions, he'd basically be gambling with Whale Shark and Xie Yue's safety.
He wouldn't be taking the slightest risk himself.
This made absolutely no sense.
So, after eliminating all the possibilities... it only left "Xie Yue" as the candidate.
Qiu Tu tried to reconstruct the personalities, relationships, and this action between the three.
Xie Yue might look young, almost like a child. But inside, he was arrogant and conceited.
Whale Shark liked to talk big, but was weak at heart and afraid to die.
