After arriving at the Golden Spring Fragrance Palace, several maids first ceremonially welcomed and cleansed Hexia, had her take off her shoes, and washed her feet in the Clear Spring Pool. Then a maid carefully dried them so she could step directly onto the golden carved floor akin to a piece of art.
The entire floor of the vestibule in the grand hall was carved with magnificent scenes — scenes of ancient fleets crossing the Milky Way and arriving on this planet, grand engineering feats of the local inhabitants transforming the planet, and celebrations led by several historical songstresses of this Star Domain.
Walking barefoot on this golden floor, Tilan felt a faint warmth, not as cool as the early autumn air, suggesting that there must be geothermal installations below keeping it consistently warm.
