Tilan didn't answer immediately. Instead, she tilted her head to look at the young man for a moment.
"I'll talk to Suoga after she's finished showering, and then I'll leave," she paused briefly.
"You're a student too, aren't you? Don't you have classes?" She finally recognized him—because of the matter involving the cat-ear sisters. Ailu Kelu had later shown her some intelligence reports, and she'd glanced over them. Only now did she give it more thought.
"I took a few days off," he rubbed his head.
"Well, you've been gone for quite a while. The teachers have been urging, so…"
"So it's better to return to school and sort things out first," Tilan suggested.
He wanted to argue back, but the girl's brief words quickly dispelled any thoughts of rebuttal. Her presence caused Shan's already anxious emotions from the past few days to surge to the forefront.
"Uh... I got it. Tomorrow I'll talk to Alanna. I probably need to visit school too," he said.
