Hearing his lackey's words, Tao's face gradually turned deathly pale.
His eyes trembling, he looked toward Chu Feng in front of him. After careful discernment, he confirmed that his underling hadn't misidentified him.
"Damn it! Since when were your eyes so sharp?"
Caught in a difficult position, Tao angrily smacked his lackey, then managed to squeeze out an ugly, forced smile.
"Mr. Chu Feng… hello there…"
Though he was verbally greeting him, Tao kept his rifle raised, its barrel subtly aimed at Chu Feng's body.
Chu Feng didn't respond, instead casting a cool glance behind Tao and his men.
Following Chu Feng's gaze, Tao turned his head and also saw the two small bodies in the corner by the weapon shop's entrance; they were the shop owner's children.
"Damn!" The obsequious smile on Tao's face vanished instantly, replaced by a twisted, ferocious scowl.
"Fire!"
At his command, his already prepared lackeys began pulling their triggers while scattering in all directions.
